Autohaven was as dark and dismal as ever. Moonlight peeked through the overcast sky and provided just enough light for you to make your way through the junkyard. There was something eerie and yet sad about this place, even though you could never quite place why . You couldn't help but to check over your shoulder every few steps, paranoid that another survivor may have followed you. So far, it seems like you've been alone this whole time, but you're not gonna take it for granted. You have to make sure to burn this... this thing before anyone has a chance to find it. Just need to find a fire... Aha! There's one!
You sprint over to a metal drum that has burning kindling inside it. The warmth from the flames licked your face as you leaned over the barrel. You reach inside your pocket and fish out the crumpled up photograph. You hold it in a clenched fist, tightening your grasp as anxiety takes hold of you. What if it doesn't burn? It seems like a stupid fear, but it's the Entity's realm for God's sake! Anything that can go wrong will . With a trembling hand, you toss the incriminating photograph into the fire.
You grip your shirt nervously as you observe the photo slowly curl in on itself before smoldering to a cinder before your eyes. You sigh in relief. Gone. Nothing but ash, now. You practically double over, struggling to catch your breath. It feels as though a massive weight was lifted off your shoulders. You know there's bound to be more where that's from, but right now? You're just relieved that you won't have to worry about that. For now...
SNAP!
Nearly jumping out of your skin, you turn on your heel, scanning your surroundings for the source of the sound. There... probably isn't anyone there. Maybe the Wraith? You wring your hands. Please don't be him ... You shuffled away from the fire, missing the warmth of the flames against the chilled air. You try to pull your shirt down, but it's no use. There's just not enough fabric to shield you from the wind. You felt oddly exposed , somehow. Like I'm being watched... You look around once more. Nothing has changed, as far you can tell. Something in your gut told you that you've overstayed your welcome, so you begin to take your leave.
You fast walk back the way you came, rounding a large heap of scrap metal. Fuck this, something's not right... You just know that you're being followed. It's dead silent besides your own footfalls, but you just can't shake that feeling crawling down your spine. You pick up the pace until you're practically sprinting, panic rising in the back of your throat. Just a little further..! Your foot catches on a muffler that was sticking out of a pile of garbage causing you to trip. You manage to grab onto a car door and save yourself from completely face planting, but you unfortunately did manage to skin your knee on said door. Hissing through clenched teeth, you hobble over to a nearby gutted school bus and lower yourself to sit on the edge of the bus's interior.
Wiping the blood from your knee, you notice that it's not too deep, but it is a rather long cut and it's bleeding more than you'd like. You'll be fine, but it stings like hell. Damn, that was fucking embarrassing. Glad that no one was around to-
CLICK !
Your blood runs cold. No... No. No. No no no no no it can't be! No please! God, Entity, someone, anything please not him..! Your head snaps up, eyes darting wildly around desperately trying to locate him. You can't find him. You can't fucking find him! Scrambling, you stand and backed your way into the bus. Stay calm. There's a window I can use right behind me if I get cornered. Just stay calm and focus on getting the fu- out of the corner of your eye, you spied a red light. Red-? Oh no! FUCK THAT! You turn to exit through the window and end up face to chest with a familiar killer clad in black leather. You scream and attempt to back peddle, only to have your wrist and a fistful of hair grabbed by gloved hands.
"Woah! Hey, babe! Where you goin in such a hurry?" He chuckles as you're yanked painfully back into the shell of a bus. You begin to cry.
"Stop it! For fucks sake, just LEAVE ME ALONE !!!" You scream, trying vainly to hit him with your free hand. It only makes him laugh .
