Thanks for the death threats, I adore them <3

"Uh...Damien. Why aren't we dead yet?" I raise my head from the door slightly.
I haven't gone kaboom. Where the hell is my kaboom?
"Damien? Dame? Ian? Ew that name is nasty. DAMIEN. THAMIEN!" My voice raises.
"My madre says my name like that." (Mother) he replies.
"How nice of her. Wait, why haven't I met your mom?" I ask.
"You care about that now?" He asks almost matter of a fact.
"No you're right, I care about my kaboom." I whisper to myself.
"Your what?" He asks."Nothing, it just would have been a cool way to die. Why aren't we dead yet?" I raise my eyebrow at...well at the door because there's no one in front of me.
"Why are you complaining?" His voice confused.
"Because Damien Rayne Cortez, I had it in my head that I will go KABOOM and now I haven't therefore this is all very confusing for me." I explain.
"Right, got it." I know he's disappointed.
"Plus, now I have to explain to Marcello that I lost his cat and I can't do that Damien." Tears roll down my cheeks, " I can't tell him that I lost the cat." I sob."Are you crying?" He tries to hold in his laughter.
"So what THAMIEN?" I spit back annoyed.
"Open the cupboard and look inside." He chuckles whilst he says these words.
"What? No." I deny immediately. I'm not that stupid.
"T, look inside. What's the worst that can happen?" He replies.
"Kaboom." I mutter."Elara, come on I'm bleeding out. Literally." He tells me.
"What? You're bleeding? Where?" I say in a state of shock.
I knew he sounded absent, I just thought it was more emotional rather than physical.
"I got sliced on my abdomen, I'll be ok we just need to get the fuck out of here now so please open that cupboard and do what I say." He repeats.
"Fine but you're telling Marcello about his cat." I bargain but it was more a threat."Hello motherfuck-," I mutter as I swing the two cupboard doors open.
"It says 00:00. We should have gone kaboom." I shrug.
"Look for a writing indent on the bottom left of the plastic." He tells me, his voice slightly loud.
"Ahh right I know why we're not dead." I nod reading the words, "it says made in Italy."
"This is why we get our amo from other countries." He enlightens me.
"Right because you also like to blow things up?" I fold my arms.
"Not really, Milo just likes watching things get blown up. I do it entirely for the kid, no personal entertainment." He clears his throat sarcastically."Lift it up." He instructs me.
"Damien you must really love me, having me hold an unexploded bomb and all." My cheeks blush.
"I do my best." He mutters sarcastically.
I hate him. Seriously hate him."Lift it up love." He repeats and I do so placing it on the counter.
"You see 3 wires: blue, yellow and red?" He asks.
"No they're all encased in black wiring." I tell him.
"Fuck," he mutters but I heard him.
"You're really giving me confidence Damien, keep it up." I roll my eyes.
"Ok get something sharp." He tells me and my eyes scramble the room looking for anything.
"There's literally nothing." I sigh. "Toss something under the door." I notice the very tiny gap emitting a little light.
He does so, giving me the upper half of a pocket knife, I'm assuming the base was far too thick."What do I do now? Stab myself?" I whisper.
"What did you say?" He asks confused.
"Nothing." I smile.
"Cut the middle wire." He demands.
"You see, my life is very valuable to me." I begin. Who are you lying to Tallia?
"T, cut the damn wire." He groans.
"Fuck 3, fuck 2, fuck-." I count.
"What the fuck are you doing?" He asks.
"Trying to count? Keep up Damien." I roll my eyes.
I slice it, before I had more time to think.
Nothing happened, I didn't go kaboom."Remove that wire from the bomb." He tells me.
"How lovely those words sound." I laugh because if I don't laugh I'm going to head but this explosive.
"Turn it around, you'll notice something. It looks like a chip. I need you to pull it out." He adds.
I pull it out, not with ease. "Wrap the wire around the chip, it'll create an electric current." His voice so certain.
Under normal circumstances his smartness would be attractive though in this case, it's psychopathic...and slightly attractive.
"Ok I'm done, thanks for the science experiment Damien but seriously get me out of here before I run into the wall." I threaten him.
"Slide it under the door."
