As promised in one of my announcements, here's photos of me from my school's spirit week this week. The theme for the week was "The Old Rivalry" since my school has this pretty long rivalry dating back to the 1800s with another school in my city and there's this whole big football game that happened last night (Friday).
Monday's theme: Senior Citizen Day. -I unfortunately don't have a photo of me dressed up as an old person, but I did participate. I saw so many guys at my school literally dressed like newsies.
Tuesday's theme: Decades Day: Since I'm a senior I had to dress up in a 1970s outfit. Juniors had the early 2000s, Sophomores had the 1990s, and Freshman had the 1980s.
Here's a photo of my outfit:I already owned the jeans, the hippie sunglasses, and the jewelry I'm wearing. I thrifted the turtleneck top, which is sleeveless, by the way, and I borrowed the denim jacket from my mom. And yes, the jeans are bell bottoms. Also, my yearbook class thought I was the best dressed out of our whole class, which made my day.
Wednesday's theme: Halloween Costume Day -I dress up as Captain America and wore a onesie, even though my mom jokingly said I couldn't be Captain America since I don't have a butt. (If you get that reference, I applaud you.)
Here's a photo of me in the costume:
Thursday's theme: Vintage Ultimate Spirit Day -I wore my mom's letterman jacket from 1997 and wore a purple tutu.
Here's a photo of me in the outfit:
Friday's theme: Doom to Manual Day (Manual is the name of the school that my school has a rivalry with). I forgot to get a photo of me wearing all black yesterday. On the bright side, my football team won the game last night 23-0.
