The light of the screen reflects her eyes
Watching those who she longs to be or want to be friends with
As the banter of people from the other side of the screen increased
Her yearning grew and grew
A longing, a wanting to be a part of what they have,
Her heart aches for it
Though she knows it will never come true
A dream it will always be
And the screen that shows the life she wants would always mock her,
And the life she wants that can never be
