Forever frozen in time, forever still
The picture of a smiling child
Wondering of their dreams;
Their future–never ending
Where they are now?
The old house where they grew up
Ingrained in old photo paper
Colored black and white
Hopes and dreams captured in that moment
Never knowing of what will be
