When AJ Came Back

Set in 1800s. There'll be probably a one shot about this topic afterwards in the book.

Context: So basically for a few years AJ disappeared. One year she was sat in the front row of the class with her hand up, everyone knowing she was probably gonna go somewhere. Then the next year, she doesn't show up. Then 2 years later, she comes back with a newsie cap and red cheeks.

When she came back to school in the fall-
Teacher: Welcome back. What did you all do over the summer?
Random student: I went to Germany!
Another random student: I went to Switzerland!
AJ: I went to New York for two years, briefly dated the king of Brooklyn, took part in a newsie strike, cussed out a giant of the newspaper industry, kissed a Manhattan newsie, won the strike and then came back. I've got like 46 sons in Manhattan now.
