It's a Mad Mad World

Y/n POV

As the elevator slowly descended, she slowly began to think if her escape plan was really a good one. Yeah sure, she thought the rabbit was cute, but she kept questioning herself, wondering if she really did it to escape. While in her train of thought, the elevator door opened. She got out and followed the arrow to the research and development room. As she walking into the next door, a lady said something about systems being offline and having to restore power in zone 2 or some shit. Y/n walked through the Zone 2 door to be meted with another glass room, this time with a pig in it. "Hi, I'm Hangry, Ima pig." You decided not to make a remark since the pig looked pretty powerful. "Oh! Ribs are my joy! I haven't had a meal in ages.." "If I could bring all my victims here to feed you I would." She said, knowing what it's like to go without food for days. "Why thank you!" He replied, a little snort coming after. He snorted again before saying,"ARE THOSE RIBS?! You mind if you come a little closer?" As she went closer to the glass, her heart started to speed up. She was honestly a bit scared of Hangry, mostly because of his size and the fact he hadn't been fed for a while. He seemed to examine your closely, seeming to make sure that they were actual ribs. "They are! You mind if I put a little barbecue sauce on ya? I got my own recipe."  Y/n was a bit shocked how the mood turned so quickly. One moment you were warming up to Hangry, the other he wants to eat her. She quickly went through the next door, not wanting to dwell on it. Y/n decided to go to the left of the little hallway, using her magnet ability before she walked through the left door. As she entered the door on the left, Y/n was met with Lucky. He looked a bit flustered when you first made eye contact but then turned back into his cocky self. "Hangry's not himself when he's hungry. Kinda loses control around fresh meaty ribs, ya know what I mean?" "Actually I don't, care to explain?" Surprisingly, her remark didn't have any effect on him like the last two times. He just continued on as if her comment didn't faze him in the slightest. "He'll go a little crazy." Y/n started to mumble to herself. "Wouldn't anyone if they were rarely fed?" He seemed to hear her and looked a bit shocked before continuing. "But aren't we all a little crazy? After all, It's a mad mad world!" "That's something we both can agree on Lucky." He looked stunned that she agreed with him, let alone said his name. You heard him mumble,"what was your past like?" He seemed to think he said it in his head before Y/n spoke up. "You wouldn't want to know... trust me..." she said in a sad voice before quickly hiding it with a cocky remark. "B-besides, my life was too great to tell again!... yeah..." he looked at her, seeming to see through her before running off into the maze of halls ahead of her. "At least he didn't see my weak and pathetic side.." she said with a sigh of relief. If he would have seen how weak and pathetic she really was, he would easily manipulate her, and she wasn't going to let that happen, Never again. She didn't want to think about it anymore and started to get shards.

Lucky POV

Why the fuck would she agree with me? What was her past truly like? Questions swarmed his brain as he paced around the room he was in. He heard footsteps behind him and noticed           
Y/n running around getting shards. He speed boost after her and hopped onto her back, pinning her to the ground. Instead of trying to struggle, she instead just laid limp, waiting for her inevitable death. "What the fuck? Aren't ya gonna at least TRY?" He said. "Why should I? I've got nothing to go back to in my past life." He was absolutely stunned. He didn't believe this was the Y/n that stabbed the shit out of Penny, the one that was completely calm when making cocky remarks to an insane rabbit and managed to beat him. He slowly got off her. "I'm letting you go, but only this time! You better not tell Malak." "W-why? Why didn't you just kill me? You could've at least tried like the others!" He helped her up, walking a couple feet back before saying,"Please, just go, I hate being seen as weak. A-and I'm only helping you because your like me!... that's it.." He walked away as Y/n stared at him with utter confusion. They were both flustered by letting them both see their vulnerable sides. Lucky closed the door as his heart started to race. He felt butterflies in his stomach. "Has she poisoned me or somethin? Why do I feel this way towards her?!" He screamed, hoping Y/n couldn't hear his outrage. Then he began to think.

"Am I in love?"
