Mortal's POV

I walked over to the next door, this time only seeing Lucky in the glass case. Wonder where the chicken went... His eyes were filled with more hatred than before, how is that even possible???? As I stood directly infront of him, staring triumphantly through the glass. He showed his anger by balling up his fists.

"You know why they call me Lucky?" He said through gritted teeth. "Its because I never lose. You seem pretty lucky too. Let's test that."

He went on as he had a laughing fit. I sat there confused until I heard the door to my left being bashed down by seemingly hundreds of Lucky clones. "Holy shit!" I quickly ran out of the room towards the gate to the big nightmare castle.

The gates slammed down just as I was about to get in. Shit shit shit! I heard the Lucky clones behind me, cackling and laughing as they sped up. I heard a noise behind me as I saw the angel pressing a button near the gate. The gate slowly rose ase I quickly made my way inside.

"Close the gates." She said in a quiet tone.

She teleported away into the sky, quickly flying down to get me. I pressed the button as the gates slammed down. I slowly walked to the elevator and pressed the button to lower the lift. All i could think was, why?

Y/n's POV

I watched amused as the Lucky clones chased after the mortal. It was all fun and games until I noticed something different.

Usually, the gates would close when a presence went beyond them, but they were already closed. This isn't right... I know i wished for change, but I wanted to change how long they lasted! To give flavor to it. This was flat out cheating, I know only one rabbit who does anything to win.

I groaned as I saw the mortal at the gates. I will help him this one time. I flew down inside the gates, making sure the real Lucky didn't see me, and pressed the button to open the gates. I quietly told him to close the gates before teleporting to the air, to make it look like I was pursuing him. The gates slammed down as I let out a fake agrivated roar as he went down the lift to Hangry's part.

I silently sighed as I felt arms around my shoulders. I saw Lucky behind me, looking furious.

"Don't think I'm fucking stupid. I saw what you did. That mortal is getting in the way. Don't help him again."

"Atleast I don't cheat to win. I actually work for my earnings."

Lucky looked stunned for a second before quickly rushing downstairs to Hangry's part. I sighed angrily as I teleported to my usual spot.

A/n - Short chapter, sorry, i kinda lost motivation. Ill try to update. The next chapter os the end for the mortal. More lovey dovey stuff after gore and bloodshed next chapter. See ya nerds.
