A/n - I'm just writing at this point, aren't I?

Y/n pov

I slowly limped up to Malak, my leg seering in pain. I ignored it as to not look weak.

"What's up bitch."

Malak seemed to be taken aback by my stern language as he straightened his tie.

"I came because one of you was seriously injured, now I can tell who was being.. inconsiderate with their body."

I felt a flash of embarassment as I looked at my burns but shook it off. This bitch was calling me weak. I won't stand for this. Just as I was about to go off on Malak, Lucky came with Hangry and Penny at his side. He strut up to Malak as he laid his arm on Malak's shoulder.

"What's up, boss?"

Malak scowled as he took Lucky's arm off his shoulder, making him stumble a bit. It made me chuckle a bit, but I soon shut my mouth as I saw Malak staring at me.

"I came because this one got injured while on the job. Quite a wound she's got."

Malak motioned to me as I looked down ashamed. Lucky seemed to tense up for a moment before going to stand by my side. Malak looked me up and down to make sure there wasn't any other injuries that might be a liability.

"How did this even happen, Lucky?"

Lucky stood frozen as he finally spoke slowly.

"The mortal pushed her over the railing while she wasn't looking."

Malak frowned as a disappointed expression was plastered onto his face. He looked at me as he looked more disappointed with each second. God how I would love to tear that look off his face.

"Hmm.. Being tricked by a mortal.. slacking off on the job.. getting wounded.. having more liabilities for me to clean.. Is this what you've been doing with your new body? Very disappointed."

Lucky seemed to be balling his fists harder and harder with each word Malak spit out his mouth. I however smiled as I looked down, knowing I've heard this all before.

"It was my fault, Malak. I didn't do anything but watch. Don't blame this on her."  Lucky said with a grim expression. Hangry and Penny looked at him with disbelief. How could their stern and egotistical leader put his ego aside for a former mortal?

Out of sheer forgetfullness, I put weight down on my right leg as my left was getting tired. I slumped to the ground with a gasp as I felt arms around me immediatley. I saw Lucky standing over me with a worried expression. He leveled me up as I started flying a bit off the ground.

"I see now.. your defending your little girlfriend. The former mortal."

We both blushed as we sit there awkwardly.

"N-No! I would never date an egotistical dipshit like him!"

Though the words stung your heart, you still said them. No going back. I looked over at Lucky and saw he was confused, but said nothing else.

"No need to get fussy over such a relationship. I guess I should heal you so my repuation will stay intact. Do not get wounded again."

He looked at me as he lifted his 3 fingered hand, pointing one of his fingers towards me. I was lifted to the air with freezing cold wind going through the holes in my skin. They slowly brought back the skin as they sowed the holes shut.

After a couple of moments, I was floated down as the sowing was done and put pressure with my right leg. It was healed, finally feeling the relief of the pressure being taken off my left leg. I stretched my arms, seeing as they were losing circulation from the burning holes of lava.

Malak gave me a last warning before teleporting off to god knows where. I look to my side to find lucky sitting there with a bit of blush on his cheeks, staring at me. I caught his stare as he quickly looked away.

"I'm gonna catch up on some sleep. Later losers."

I said with a sigh as I held up two middle fingers to beak bitch and teleported away.

It's been a week since Malak came to fix my injuries. I was feeling more or less insecure about that. I had never messed up that bad in my life.

Lately, I've been going out at the realm's sleeping hours. Training for different techniques to find mortals and kill them quickly. I would practice endurance in flying, then speed. I learned different spear wielding techniques for better grip and faster dispatches. Needless to say, I learned from my mistakes.

The recent kills I had were more violent. More blood was spilled each time. But hey, I ran out of organs in the basement, now I was just working for food.

Everything was always awkward while eating. But this week was the most tense. I usually would sit down and just try to eat as quickly as possible. Lucky would almost never eat his food when I was there. He would just.. stare at me. Until I catch his gaze, then he turns away quickly. He would always find some way to look at me, as if I couldn't feel his gaze.

Penny has been more bitchy. But that's to be expected. She would give more frequent death stares at dinner, which I would return with a chuckle. She thought it would be funny to hide my organs, but that was a huge mistake. I ended up taking her wings. If she couldn't keep them to herself, she wouldn't have any to begin with.

Hangry was just.. off. Everytime I came to eat, he would stare wide eyed at me before taking his ribs to his room. He would always avoid me at all costs. I was used to it from my victims, just not from him. He would usually be warm and cuddly at some points, which I would make fun of. But he just, seemed to be avoiding even the mention of me.

Enough of them. Today, I was fed up with their behavior towards me. I took my food and went to my room to eat. I got weird stares from all of them, a slightly concerned one from Lucky, but I didn't care.

( tiny bit of blood talk )

I ate more slowly, seeing as this was the last of my store of food. I savored each bite. The cold blood that would still seep out as I took a bite of the chewy organ. It was a stomach, a small one at that. I slowly chewed as the blood would seep down my throat, my sharp teeth grinding down the rest of the meat.

( done ig )

After I was done, I placed the plate on my dresser. It had a broken mirror. I never liked my appearance, so I broke it. Simple as that. Guess 7 years of bad luck. Whoopie. I laid on my bed, slowly closing my eyes as I drifted away from the hellscape realm and into the dream world.
