Chapter Eighteen:
Jeno's P.O.V:
"So where's your next class?" Rei asked me as she waited for me to get my books out.
"Umm.." I gave her my schedule.
"Mr. Jin, English." She said outloud. "Oh I have him too!" She smiled. "You can just come with me then!"
At that moment the bell rang, and we both headed off to English.

"Everyone, we have a new student." Mr. Jin introduced me to the class.
"Hello everyone I'm Lee Jeno, but you can just call me Jeno." I said.
I saw a girl whisper to her friend and she nodded in agreement. Then I saw another girl pass a note to another friend and her friend giggled out loud. Then I laid my eyes on Rei. Smiling, and giving me a thumbs up. I felt better.
"Okay, you can choose your spot, but there's an extra seat in the back next to Rei." Mr. Jin told me.
Without any hesitation, I headed off to sit next to Rei. On my way there a girl grabbed my wrist.
"Sit with me." She said flirting, twirling her hair and batting her eyes.
"Move." She said to the guy sitting next to her. He looked shocked at first then began to gather his stuff.
"No I'm not gonna sit there, you can stay there." And I heard her scoff at my remark.
"Sorry but I've made up my mind." I told her as I got my wrist out of her tight grip and went to go to sit next to Rei.
"Bad choice buddy." She said to me. I brushed it off as I went to sit next to Rei.
She leaned over to whisper something to me. "That's Soojoung. She's bad news. Don't go near her or do anything, she'll hurt you." She told me.
I looked at Soojoung once again. Sure she was pretty, but she was the devil in disguise.
Her tshirt was exposing more than it should, and her skirt was higher than it should be. I scoffed as she brought out her makeup mirror and I saw her looking at me by using it. She waved and I ignored her.

The bell finally rang at the end of class, Rei and I were ready to walk out together when she approached.
"Hi Jeno." She called out. "Rei, you're so rude! You should introduce me to him!" She said.
Rei sighed, and I felt bad for her. "I don't need your introduction because I didn't even want to know you in the first place." I spat at her as I dragged Rei out of that classroom and away from her.
We arrived back at our lockers and Rei still has that shocked face.
"Why'd you do that?" She asked.
"Eh, she just seems like a flirt and its not even worth it." I told her. She smiled.
"Well you're right." She said and I laughed.
"So how are you liking our school?" She asked me.
"It's good. I've been meaning to come here for a while." I told her.
"Well that means I'll be seeing you around huh?" She asked.
"Yes locker buddy." I told her, emphasizing Locker buddy. She laughed.
"Okay okay.." She said to me.
The bell rang indicating that school was actually over. Rei and I walked out and was met with Jaemin.
"Jeno!" He called out.
"Jaemin. -.-" I said.. Not over the fact that I found out him and Rei dated.
It's like he completely forgot about me and put his focus on Rei.
"Oh Rei you look so pretty." He said. She turned the other way, probably blushing.
"Thanks Jaemin." She said. He then went to put his arm around her and she tensed up. I glared at him..
But then again.. Why did I feel so jealous?
She laughed. "Jeno are you jealous?" She asked me.
"What?! No." I told her. And Jaemin laughed.
"You're like glaring at me bro." He said.
"I'm sorry." I told him. Rei then removed arm off of her shoulders and came to me.
Before I knew it Rei came up and hugged me.
Thump thump.. Thump thump..
Why is my heart beating so fast.
In a split second, the moment I treasured ended. "You feel better Jeno?" She asked me. "Yes definitely." I told her. I looked at Jaemin and he looked.. A mix of emotions.
"Well umm.. Let's go you guys." Jaemin told us.
We began walking. "Oh guys sorry I have work.." She said. Jaemin frowned. "It's okay Rei. We should all hang out with each other sometime." Jaemin said.
"Yea that.. That's be nice." She said.
She went in the opposite direction as me and Jaemin. Then I remembered something.
"Jaemin you'll have to go without me. I'll catch up." I told him as I headed in the other direction.
"What why?" He asked shocked.
"Reasons. I'll be there though don't worry." I told him and I ran in the other direction.

I caught up with Rei as she was waiting for her subway.
"Jeno!" She said, "what are you doing here?"
"I just came to see if you could get to work safely." I told her.
Rei blushed. "I'll be fine." She said.
"No, just in case." I said.
At that moment, the subway came.
