Chapter Nineteen:
Third Person P.O.V:
The subway landed at their destination and the two headed off to Rei's work. Rei met with Daehyun and Daehyun was 'fangirling' over the two. She laughed at him and began to work.
While working, Rei would look at Jeno from time to time. He was sweet for staying with her, even if she didn't need it. He looked up from his phone and waved at her. She smiled and waved back only to be yelled at by Daehyun.
"Stop flirting with him Rei it's inappropriate." He said and she scoffed,followed by hitting him playfully on the arm and laughed but quickly got back to work.

Her shift finally ended and she helped Daehyun lock up. They said their goodbyes as Rei and Jeno were the only two left.
Jeno's P.O.V:
We entered the café and I met eye to eye with Daehyun. He was smiling and greeted me nicely.
Rei began to work and I sat in the corner.. Just by myself. I looked at her while she was working. She looked so pretty with her messy bun. Her smile to the customers was so cute.. And how she-- wait why am I even thinking about this?
As I looked away, I caught Rei looking at me. I waved at her and she smiled, waving back. Daehyun came out of nowhere and told her something in which she hit him and laughed.

You must be wondering something, I spent four hours.. By myself, at a cafe, just waiting for Rei? Actually yes.
To be honest, it didn't really seem like four hours, watching Rei, and her taking her break just to check up on me.. Didn't seem like it was four hours. Plus I could've left anytime I wanted to, I just chose to stay.
Rei laughed as Daehyun said something to her and she told him to stop it. Then we were left alone.
"You didn't have to stay for me you know that right?" She asked as we started walking towards the subway.
"I know, but I just chose too." I told her.
"You must've been bored out of your mind! I'm sorry about that.." She said as she hugged me again..
And my heart rate went up once more.
Thump thump.. Thump thump.. Thump thump thump thump.
I'm pretty sure it was so loud she could hear it.
"No Rei, I was fine." I said as she broke the hug.
"It's getting late..I should started heading home." She said. I bit my lip.. It's really late.. Could she even make it home safely?
Rei's P.O.V:
He's biting his lip. He looks hot.
Wait what.
"I'll be fine Jeno." I told him as I tried to avoid the fact I was blushing.
"Are you sure Rei? I can come along." He told me. He seemed concerned..
"No.. Jeno I'll be fine don't worry." I said as I started heading in the other direction.
"Oh okay Rei." He said "See you tomorrow Locker Buddy!"
I laughed and turned around. I waved at him. "Bye! See you tomorrow!" And I left into the entrance of the subway station.
Jeno's P.O.V:
I watched as Rei's small figure slowly disappeared and walked by myself on my route home. I stopped as I felt something.. Am I being watched?
I look around and see nothing but the street lamps on, and no one else there.
"Okay get out now." I said. Immediately I heard whispers and shuffling of feet. I took in my surroundings again, just in case something was going to happen.
I heard a long sigh and a trash can get hit from the northwest side. I immediately turned that way in a defense stance, and then I heard the voice.
"I told you that Jeno was fine!" Mark screamed out loud as he stepped under the street light out of the alleyway.
"It's not my fault I was worried okay!" Donghyuk responded immediately as he accidentally hit the trash can.
"Did we really have to hide behind a trash can now we stink!" Donghyuk complained.
"Hey you wanted to be 'not seen' and I offered a different place but you said the alley way would be good!" Mark yelled back.
"Okay back it up you guys. Why are you even here?!" I asked.
"We got.. Actually no Donghyuk got worried after Jaemin said you were coming back but four hours later you didn't." Mark said.
"But how did you know I was here?" I asked.
"Mark said that'd you be here with.." He said it softer, "Rei." Donghyuk then smiled and I sent a glare in Mark's direction.
"And to think I was actually right for once!" Mark said. "She hugged you bro how cute!" He said as he hit me on the shoulder.
"Shut up Mark hyung. Can we just go now?" I asked him annoyed.
"Looks like you're avoiding the topic of Rei.." Donghyuk says. I scoff.
"No I just want to keep going." I told him.
"Sure okay Jeno.. You keep believing that." Donghyuk said as he gave me a pat on the back and we set off in our direction.
