I wake up to the sound of rain on the roof and tree branches hitting against the window. I reach for my phone beside my bed and check the time. It's nearly six thirty so I decide to shower and move on with my day.
I start my shower and pick out my outfit for the day. Due to the rain, I pick out my Stanford hoodie and a pair of jeans.
After my shower, I ready myself for the long day ahead of me. I make sure my side of the tiny dorm room I share with this girl named Anna is tidy, in case she wants to have any guests. I'm not quite sure how I feel about her, given I am only a freshman and she is a sophomore.
By the time I have my bags packed, it is almost eight, the time I had originally planned on leaving at.
Spring break, here I come.
