I woke up to hearing someone come through the door. Lauren was in the shower, so I grab a clothes hanger as a weapon. It's the only thing I can think of in such short notice. As I peer around the corner, I see Cameron. I instantly drop the hanger and run over to him."I saw you with that other girl. What were you thinking? Lauren is in love with you and you go sneaking around with another girl and tell her your mom is in the hospital. She was crying yesterday because you didn't come home. I haven't told her because I don't want to break her heart. If you think that you can come back here, you're wrong. I'm going to tell her as soon as she is out of the shower," I whisper. The last thing I want is lauren hearing this conversation.
"She's in the shower?" he asks hopeful.
"Yeah," I clarify. I'm not sure if he couldn't hear the running water or what, but he is testing my patience.
"Good I just came here to get more clothes. Andrea and I are really hitting it off. I was thinking maybe faking my death?" He says. He sounds kind of relieved. I really do not like him.
"You better just get out now before she finishes her shower. It's been almost half an hour," I tell him. I really don't know how she would handle it, again. She's been through so much. I don't want her to get hurt.
Within a couple minuets, Cameron makes his way out of the house. I hear the water faucet stop and I know that within the next hour or so, I'll have to tell her the person she loves is cheating on her. I know he is, he admitted it to me. I hope she believes me.
The hour passes quicker than both of us would've liked it to. I venture out of my room in a t-shirt and running shorts. She sitting on the couch and I take a seat next to her.
"Bella what's wrong? You've seemed really down lately. Is everything okay?" She asks. Yeah Lauren, everything's fine your boyfriend is just cheating on you with this girl twice his age. If I only could just put it like that. If only life were that simple.
"Lauren I'm so sorry," I start, "when we were at the mall Tuesday and I went to look around for a bit, I saw something," I finish.
"Bella, where is this going?" She asks. I honestly don't know.
"I saw Cameron, with another girl," I say as I watch her face drop the ground.
"what?" She asked on the verge of tears.
I fill her in on everything I saw and Cameron's plan and about his little trip over here this morning.
"I guess I saw it coming, I mean, it was a stupid mistake coming here with him. I shouldn't have been so naive and so willing to jump the gun for him. I should've seen straight through his lies. I should've just said no," she says wiping away her tears. It's good she's feeling okay about this. I think so at least.
My eyes veer towards the picture on the hole in the wall that was covered up with a picture of the two.
"He did that," she starts "he came home drunk one night. I had cleaned up and put money away, when he claims I stole it," she finishes.
"Lauren, why didn't you say anything? You could've stayed with me. My roommate is never there," I tell her. How could she not take that as a sign. How could she think it was going to work out? I wonder how far she would go in order to save this relationship.
"Thanks Bella. I guess we're over now. How about you tell me about your date tonight?" She says.
I fill her in in the details. I let her know that I have no clue what we are going to be doing but he is coming here at seven to pick me up. I make sure to tell her that it is not a date.

I can believe that I will be leaving to pick up Bella soon. I'm super pumped for our date. I shower and put on a nice shirt and khakis. I brush through my hair and gel it. I grab a coat and say goodbye to the boys and that I'm not sure what time we will be back.As I knock on Bella's door, another girl answers. Do I have the right house? I've done a lot of things in my life, but I've never been so nervous for any of them. The girl introduces herself as Lauren and says that Bella will be out soon.
As Bella comes down the steps in a beautiful dress with lace at the top and a pink bottom, I am awed. Her hair is curled and her blue eyes look perfect with the little makeup she has on. Her black heels and her gold clutch look perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better looking girl.

I can barely focus on the road, just knowing that she is beside me. We talk about random things and she asks me where I'm from and about the Janoskians. I explain to her everything and then ask her about herself. She tells me that she's 18 and a freshman at Stanford, majoring in law. She says she's on spring break for the next three weeks and is staying at her friend Lauren's house. I listen carefully as we pull in the parking lot of a fancy restaurant.I hold the door open for Bella, then quickly walk in close behind her. I don't want anyone thinking she's here alone. Everybody has their eyes on her, or at least that's what it seems like.
The waitress comes to take our orders. She orders a water to drink and I order the same, just to stay hydrated so I can "accidentally" run into her and stick with her when she runs. She's not the easiest person to stick with.
We get our drinks when I decide to start a conversation. This small talk is killing me.
"I just wanted to say I am really sorry for Tuesday. I know I've said this about a million times, but I really think we should be friends. Maybe someday along the day we can get actually date"i say, wishing I would've taking out the last part. Smooth, Daniel.
