Colette's pov

Driving through Massachusetts felt weird. I'd never been here before, but i already knew it wasn't really the place for me. I never really like Ohio either, nor did i have any friends. I didn't really like the people of the town i lived in before. They weren't that nice but i was hoping for a fresh start here, even though it looks like a shithole i am still hoping i will make atleast one friend here and if not then it wouldn't hurt to hang out with Kinsey considering we are in the same grade.

"Okay here we are." My dad said pulling up into a small driveway.

I looked at the house and i smiled to myself. It wasn't anything near as ugly as the house we lived in before. This one was decent, on the outside.

We all got out of the car and walked to the front door. My dad unlocked it and we went in. It was great inside.

"It's perfect here. Let's get settled in and then we can drop you of at Nina's. Me and your mom are leaving first thing tomorrow." My dad said to me as i was looking around.

I just nodded and went upstairs to look at all the rooms, since i was the only child my parents let me pick out the first room. As soon as i had chosen, i put my bags on my new bed that obviously the old owners had left here and then i went and opened a small glass door that led onto a balcony. I walked onto it and put my hands on the railings as i looked around at the things i could see from here, i smiled lightly. I was exited to be here, even if it did look like shit to a certain extent.
