(Ettie is Colette's nickname her parents give her, Incase any of you got confused as to why that name is being used occasionally in this chapter lol.) - Colette's pov:
"Ettie! Let's go now!" My mom shouted up the staircase.
"Hang on 2 seconds!" I shouted back.
I was in the middle of sorting all my ornaments and other shit out of the boxes that came off the movers van. I also got one of my smaller suitcases and packed a bunch of stuff i was going to need for staying at Nina's house for 3 weeks. I knew i could always come back to my own house but i still needed my essentials and clothes with me at all costs so i also brought a rucksack and shoved a bunch of school things in it, considering i was starting at a new high school tomorrow, the same high school as my cousins Tyler and Kinsey.
After a few more minutes of my parents getting impatient, i walked downstairs with my bags and made my way out of the front door.
"Finally, Nina has been waiting for you for the past hour!" My mom said with a stern look on her face.
"Sorry, it's not my fault i have stuff to do, we just moved here today and i don't even get to do anything properly in the house." I replied, trying to prove a point.
"It's okay Ettie. I know, But let's just go now, yeah?" My mom said.
I nodded and jumped into the backseat.
We drove for a few minutes before turning into a creepy looking gateway. Once it was open we went through it and up towards a huge house, it looked crazily old and haunted. I wasn't so sure if this was the right place.
"Um, are you sure this is the right place dad?" I asked in a concerned voice.
"I'm pretty sure, hon." He replied before jumping out the car and slamming the door shut.
I got out quickly after him, along with my mom and we all made our way to the front door.
After ringing it a few times, Bode, my youngest cousin opened the door.
"Colette!" He excitedly said before hugging me really tightly.
"Hey Bo!" I replied chuckling.
"I have missed you so much." He said whilst dragging my arm into the house.
He dragged me through the house to the kitchen and to my surprise my Aunt, Nina stood there.
"Frankie! Hugo! Colette! How great to see you all! It's been way too long." Nina said as she hugged each of us individually.
"It's so great to see you." My mom, Frankie said.
They all went and sat down before going into a deep conversation. I just stood there awkwardly watching and not knowing what to do.
Bode tapped my shoulder before saying, "So do you want me to take you to see Kinsey and Tyler?"
"Why not?" I replied smiling.
He grabbed my arm yet again and pulled me out of the kitchen and towards a staircase. We made our way upstairs at the same time as Bode started shouting. "Kinsey! Tyler! Colette's here! Don't be rude, come say hi."
