It is also possible that the Nazi regime would be overthrown internally after the people realize that it is brutal in its operations, even against its own people. With Hitler removed, a new moderate leader could take over, which would mean that things would not look as bleak. However, in the instance that the new Fuhrer is even crazier than Hitler, we can expect Germany to double down on the oppression.
At the end of the day, the German victory is likely to be short-lived. It is highly improbable that one country can control a massive empire that stretches the entire globe, especially with the looming threat of nuclear warfare. Of course, all of this assumes that Germany did not possess nuclear weapons before the US. The fascist Nazi regime in control of nukes is indeed a scary thought and one that I don't think anyone ever wants to even imagine playing out.
