Hopeless Thoughts

Chapter 2:

Michelle and I just sat there for a couple of minutes in silence, a down feeling overcoming the room. She suddenly jumped up off the bed startling me. "I know what we should do to cheer you up," she said, "We'll go to Perry's house vandalize his car and grab a pizza and then we'll all go crash at my place. How does that sound?"
"Not terrible," I replied.
"Well come onnnnnnnnn. We've got to go tell the others." Michelle told me while grabbing my arm and pulling me from my position on the bed.
"Alright guys," Michelle yelled while running down the stairs, "We need to run by Walmart then we've got some business to attend to, you all in?"
A chorus of yes rang out from Satilla, Christopher, Madi, and Clint.
"Load up! Michelle said acting as our designated boss.
Laughing we all made our way to Michelle's Honda CRV. Of course as always, I'm up front along with Michelle with Satilla, Christopher, Madi, and Clint in the back.
Michelle gets in and cranks up the car. Of course Satilla jumps up from her seat and try's to turn on the radio, but to no avail because Michelle slaps her hand back and turns on Of Monsters and Men, giving me a small smile because she knows that it is one of my favorite bands. We ride to Walmart singing and acting like the idiots we all are.
"Alright, Clint and Madi especially, don't run off and get arrested because this time Colt Nd I aren't gonna bail y'all out. Okay? Last time we were so embarrassed by the fact that two of our best friends were arrested because they were caught in the bathroom doing some very rated R material," Michelle said making it very clear to them. I looked around to see that their faces were tinted with red.
"Alright let's go, my peeps," Michelle told us as we exited the car. We parked not far from the entrance so once we stepped in we all went our spreads ways. I went along with Michelle not knowing what was on her list to get.She began walking to the refrigerator section where the eggs were. "Okay, two cartons of eggs. Next we need to go the cutlery and get a couple of things," she said with a malicious grin.
So, once again I followed Michelle through the store until we finally made our ways to the knives. "Choose your poison Colton."
I looked at all the knives until my eyes landed on a tide dye blue, green, and red. She picked out a purple one that was huge and looked very sharp and flashy.
"Alright l now we can go where you've been dying to go to since we stepped foot in this place," Michelle said whilst laughing.
Like a little kid in a candy store I walked/jogged to the section of the store where the beanies were. I tried on about five or six when I saw the perfect one. It was red with the words payback written in white. I knew it was perfect for what we were about to do.
So walking back to the counter we paid for our stuff and walked outside where we found Everyone else. Of course Madi had Starbucks when we came out-typical white girl. We jumped in Michelle's car and began on our way to Perry's.
