Crumbling Down

Sometime Later...

Crap! I'm late for school, Natalie's is going to kill me. I guess that she'll have to fight NIno, Alya and Marinette for that, since promised them that I'd be there early so we could hang out; as I've been ditching... well not ditching exactly... just lying about my father booking me for more photoshoots so that I could go and spend time with Luka. Though that doesn't mean that I don't spend time with my friends far from it in fact, I hang out with them a few days a week which is way better than when we all first met back when we were 14 and 15; where I wasn't able to hang out with them at all because of my father's rules. which are still quite strict though now they are more and less so. Less so as in I'm allowed to go on outings with my friends, but more so because I'm not allowed to hang out with Alya or Marinette when by myself. 

Though there has been something bothering me about Mari and Alya, mainly that they both always seem to know when I'm lying about having photoshoots... it's like they know my complete schedule. Honestly, it kinda creeps me out, that and the fact that Mari is always nervous around me even when Alya and Nino are present.

Speak of the devil and he shall make himself known.

Nino: Hey dude where are you? Everyone is worried about you.

Adrien: Oh sorry I slept in. It must have been later than I thought when I went to bed last night.

Nino: It's the alright dude you almost here?

Adrien: Yeah I'm just getting ready now I'll be there soon.

Nino: Alrighty my dude.

Adrien: Talk to you soon.

One thing I'm worried about is that if my friends ever meet my father and he gives them the time of day, (which is more than he gives me), they'll tell him the actual times of Kitty Sections band practices and how many days a week they occur because Natalie has been helping me get more time with my friends, and since Kitty section is about the only activity I like, in which my father semi-approves of. We have just been adding practices and extending some to give me time with my friends.

I don't think she knows that Luka and I are together even though it will be a year come July. This makes me anxious, and sad at the same time since she's been pretty much the only adult who cares about my well-being who doesn't have to, well.. okay not the only adult; it's just that she was the only adult for a long while. Now I have Anarka too. I'm glad that Anarka and Juleka both accepted me into their family dynamic, well Rose and I that is; sometimes when she's over with Juleka, Luka and I will hang out with them and watch movies, it's really fun, and those are some of my favourite moments. They even top those where I'm hanging out on rooftops with ladybug just talking about life and attempting to flirt with someone whom I only liked as a friend.

Before I know it, Natalie is parking in front of the school, and I have no idea how I even got in the car; man I must have zoned out big time. 

Taking a look out the window I see Nino, Mari and Alya waiting for me by the main doors. 

Honestly, I'm kind of nervous to be around Mari and Alya simply because of a) Mari's nervousness around me, the origin of which I still haven't for sure pinned down, and b) Alya's inability to let things go and to not know everything about a person. 

Nino is the first to notice me, almost running over; then immediately trying to go for a high-five which I return. 

"Hey, dude, how are things?" in a quieter voice, he says, "something looks to be bothering you. What is it, my dude?" 

Before I can reply Mari and Alya have made their way over to use and Alya has already started to ask Nino what we were talking about. 

"So boys, what were the two of you talking about?"
