The whole month has passed for the new students have actually been pretty splendid than they thought.

Classes and assignments aren't nothing new (for Hakuji and Shiraume that is), however, they gotten to get along and know little more each other. For Hakuji, he's now used of Shiraume's whines and childish behavior including her taunts towards him. Shiraume wouldn't stop teasing or making fun of him for his behavior especially with other women. She swimmingly got along with him quite well and never got tired of getting into his nerves, waiting for his reactions.

For Koyuki, she was surprisingly getting used to her new school life. Sure there would be times she would having trouble finding her way to classes, mistake rooms as her classes, misunderstood her teacher's instructions. But she's able to learn how to manage them and working on improving herself in here without having another breakdown or panic attacks. Her self-esteem and confidence has boosted up over the time as she felt more relax and comfortable including surrounding by her peers.

Especially Hakuji the most.

They both would be frequently talking to each other whether about their days, classes, homework. Which would lead into a further conversation such as their personal preferences, likes or dislikes, and other personal interests and opinions they could think of that got them to get along just well.

Koyuki being able to get along with one another especially him. Made her feel happy. Safe even. Became her comfort person. Life finally feels more exciting.

There would be times she might feel shy or giddy around him or talking to him. Sometimes both! Making her feel many heady emotions running at once that she sometimes blushes and would developed thoughts about him, being with him. Sometimes the thoughts may get into too deep.

But she knows she has to stop otherwise it becomes frequent. She created special boundaries for herself in order to keep her friendship with Hakuji be good the way it is.

"Have you guys heard?" Shiraume asked with her mouth full.

"Heard what?" Hakuji asked, reading his novel from the table with his head leaning on his hand.

"There's going to be a firework festival coming this Friday. Y'all going?" Shiraume said taking another bite.

"I didn't know there's going to be one. Where you heard that?" Hakuji asked, taking a bite of his small beef.

"Couple of classmates in study hall were blabbering about some upcoming festival this week. They said it's gonna this firework festival is going to be the big thing since the fireworks they claimed are expensive but fantastic to see I don't know."

"That sounds like fun! I always wanted to see fireworks in person!" Koyuki clapped both her hands together with an excited expression on her face.

"You never seen one?" Hakuji asked with a surprised look.

Koyuki shook her head, "No I haven't honestly. I was stuck at home doing homeschool stuff. Ever since my parents got divorced when I was 5, my mother took full custody of me and was in charge of what I do. She decides what's good for me specifically the choices she made for me until I was 11 years old when father was able to brought me back in full custody. He had to go through many paperwork's and legal actions to get me back." Koyuki giggles. "Growing up, I missed seeing him. My mother didn't want me to be anywhere near him as she didn't got a long with him. Although he wanted to get along with her, but she didn't want to cooperate. There were never issues with my father despite being a corporate businessman. It wasn't like a big happy family for me. Especially without him. He's such a big gentle teddy bear and I love him. My mother....well she's a strict one."
