After spending 1 hour and 30 minutes of researching, reading, and taking notes, Hakuji finally starts to write his essay. As he writes, he becomes engrossed in his work and feels a sense of satisfaction as he watches his essay come together.
He has been assigned to write a critical analysis on any types of poem of his choice. He hated the class with passion but seeing his work coming to life is satisfying.
He takes a deep breath and leans back in his chair, stretching his arms up over his head. Looking at the blank space ahead, he can't help but feel excited about the prospect of finishing his work. He takes a moment to bask in the feeling of accomplishment and looks forward to receiving feedback on his work, confident that he will receive a good grade.
After another hour went by, he finished his essay.
"That'll show him. Now he won't stop complaining of me not concentrating class once he grades my work." Hakuji smiles with confidence.
His peaceful mind was interrupted when his door barged open.
"Ohhh Kay I am finally done cleaning your kitchen." Shiraume let out an exhausted sigh with her legs almost wobbly, leaning on his bedroom doorframe. Tossing the cleaning gloves, sponges and towels onto his bedroom floor. "Give me back my phone now!"
He turns his chair around facing her with a stern expression, "Did you clean it thoroughly?"
"Yes your majesty! I had spent hours scrubbing the stovetop, the oven, the countertops, and even the inside of the fridge." She even pulls out the cleaning supplies that he gave her. "I even used different cleaning products and tools, trying to remove every stain and speck of dust." She groans as she felt exhausted and frustrated, and her hands became sore from all the wiping and rubbing.
"Well, I will be the judge of it." He sits up from his chair and began walking out of his room towards the kitchen.
"Ughhh." Shiraume grunts as she follows him behind.
As they both made it to the kitchen, Hakuji was amazed by the transformation of the kitchen. He noticed that even the smallest details, like the grout lines between the tiles, were now spotless. the once cluttered kitchen was now a pristine, spotless space. The countertops gleamed under the bright overhead lights, without a crumb or stain in sight. The sink was empty of dirty dishes, and the dishwasher hummed quietly as it tidied up the final remnants of the previous mess. The shelves and cupboards were neatly arranged, with every item in its proper place. The air was fresh and clean, no longer heavy with the scent of burned food and garbage.
"Ah great job." He praised her. "You even managed to organize the utensils perfectly." He says as he gone through the drawer.
"Yeah yeah now give me back my phone, asshole. You said once I clean this kitchen, you are gonna give it back to me." She demands.
In order for her to clean up her whole mess, He had to to take her phones away and luckily she left it on the couch before she quickly ran for it. He of course is faster than her so he managed to caught it quick. After 20 minutes of arguing (especially Shiraume the one saying nonsense and excuses for her messy behavior), she finally gave in and clean. Instead of hearing her complaints, he went to his room to finish his analysis he has to write. After 2 hours, he completed it. Right on time when Shiraume barged in and announced her finish cleaning.
Shiraume grabs her phone from his hands and went to the sofa and began looking throuhg her, "you better not mess with my phone or tried to hack in."
"Why would I even consider that? I don invade someone's privacy; I'm nothing you," he snapped defensively, heading over to the fridge. He yanked it open and rummaged around for a drink, feeling a mix of frustration and exhaustion. "All I asked was for you to clean up your mess because you're a grown person."
