Tsuruta is surprised. Ukai is surprised. Sonokawa nods calmly.
After Karasuma briefs them more about it, they leave his office one by one. Sonokawa is the last.
She's Karasuma's most trusted subordinate, and nothing else. It isn't her place at all, but just before she steps outside the room, she turns to face him and says shortly, "I'm happy for you, sir."
He has few others to say those words to him.
She leaves, and doesn't see the surprise on his face followed by the slightest softness right as the door closes.
