Two secruity guards stood outside the palace and stopped us from going in .
" May i know your names and reason for coming ? " One of them said and the other checked our bags for any dangerous weapons .
" Lucy Heartfilia from Fairytail . We came upon a request for escorting the princess here . "
" I'm Natsu Dragneel from Fairytail . "
The guard returned our bags and the other nodded , motioning us to go in .
We pressed the doorbell after a 3 mins walk and a butler came to let us in . He guided us to the Mayor's room and we entered .
" You are .. ? " The Mayor asked . He looked kind and peaceful .
" We are mages from Fairytail . I'm Lucy Heartfilia and he's Natsu Dragneel . We came upon the request of escorting your daughter . " I said and he nodded twice .
" I see . Then please wait by the gates where the two guards are and i'll tell her to go to you . " He told us and we nodded .
" Understood . "

" Can we stop walking already ? " She complained .
" It has only been less than 10 minutes , Lia . " I hissed in annoyance .
" But it felt like 10 hours ! " She shouted .
What a nuisance . Ugh .
" Than thats your problem . Me and Natsu are perfectly fine . Right , Natsu ? " I looked at Natsu and he gulped because he felt my deadly aura . He nodded his head .
Right now , my mood is really bad . Her consistent complains every minute is making me headache . With this scorching hot weather ... This is hell .
" Ne , ne , ne , ne ! Lets take a break ! Pweaseeeeeee ? " She begged and pulled my arm .
I shook them off and said , " Fine . "
" YAYYY ! "
After the 15 minutes short break , we started to walk again .
5 minutes later ...
" Can we rest ? Its really hot ! " She complained AGAIN .
It ticked me off real bad so i shouted , " Would you ever shut up ? Do you think this weather only affects you ?! "
" Tch . Is that the way to talk to me ? I'll tell my dad- "
" Well sure , tell him . Complain all you want . But he can't do anything to me . You know why ? I'm a Heartfilia . We are the second richest in the whole world . " I said and Natsu's jaw dropped .
" B-But its not like you're first ! "
" Then are you ? The first is the Eucliffe . But are you one ? No you aren't . So just shut that damned mouth of yours and follow us . " I glared and she shivered .
" F-Fine... I'm sorry okay ?! " She was on the verge of tears . Then i realised what i have done . I shouted at a child who knows nothing .
I hugged her and said , " I'm sorry . I got out of control . But do you know ? I envy you . You have parents . I don't . "
I wiped away her tears and smiled .
" I'm sorry , neesan . " She said and i shook my head .
" Luce , don't forget . You have Fairytail . You have us . Most importantly , you have me ! " Natsu patted my back and i smiled .
