"L/n!!" Screamed a raven-ette, the dark bags under his eyes being prominent. 

"Yuuta what did I say about sleep? And where's Rika?" Y/n said, as she turned around to face her friend and secret crush.

Yuuta chuckled "Sorry sorry, I was just kinda wondering..." He said, trailing off. 

Y/n raised an eyebrow as she looked him up and down, trying to figure out his body language. 'It's like he's trying to confess something... Oh shit! He's trying to confess! Does he maybe like me? No, wait what if I'm trying to hard in reading this..? You know what let's see... ' She thought.

And then she looked him up and down again, waiting for his question.

"Uh- I w- w- was won- wondering if you'd l- like to g- go out w- with me?-" He said, silently scolding himself for stuttering.

Y/n chuckled, trying her best to not overthink, she would pretend she thought it was a friendship go out thing and he was being shy. Cause what if it was?

"Yuuta, what are you being shy for? We've gone out together many times, what's so special about today??" She asked, raising her eyebrow in fake confusion.

Yuuta grimaced, and y/n figured out he really did want her to go out with him. Yet, her plan was to wait for Yuuta to confess, it always has been.

"Yeah you're right... I don't know w- why I was so shy..." Yuuta said, stuttering once after hearing his dog Rika racing towards him.

Y/n sighed, his plan had failed, and he backed out.

Many occasions like this had happened. 

Each one making y/n more vexed than the last time. 

She grimaced, unhappy with her situation.

Until one day she burst.

"Okkotsu Yuuta!!!" She hollered, stomping her way into the living room, where everybody else was. 

Okkotsu flinched as he hastily got up and stoop straight and still, "Y- yes ma'am!!".

Y/n stomped towards him while her face showed anger, Maki (in the background) dashed and came back with popcorn for herself, while everybody else took from her little box.

Y/n, she had finally come face to face with Yuuta, she looked him up and down as she stared him right in the eyes.

"L- l/n w- wha- what's wrong??" Yuuta asked, gulping loud enough for y/n to hear. She smirked as she took a step back, getting out of Yuuta's personal bubble.

"Yuuta Okkotsu." She said again, a firm tone ringing inside his head. "Y- yes?" Yuuta asked, tad bit worried about what was going to happen.

"You have tried to ask me out a number of times but failed miserably. When are you going to ask me out, hm?" She asked in a straightforward tone which had hit Yuuta right in the heart.

Yuuta grimaced as he visibly shrunk, "W- w- well, I j- just tho- thought that y- you didn't l- like me..." He said, trying extremely hard, not to stutter.

Y/n sighed "I like you very much Yuuta, but I wanted you to confess to me, it would boost your confidence, and I thought confessing to me would help that..." She said, once saying it, realising how dumb it actually did sound.

Yuuta widened his eyes "Wait!- That's why you waited and pretended?!" He asked, surprised y/n would wait for so long  just to boost his confidence.

"Haha... Yeah..." She said, her eyes darting away for a second before she regained her composure, "BUT! I lost patience considering how epically long it took you."

Yuuta looked away, and he too regained his composure. "Then for your sake, I'll become more confident!!" He said, eyes glimmering with confidence as he walked towards you and hugged you.

Y/n knew how much it took for him to walk towards you, and then hug you! Yuuta was already getting better!

"Oh Yuuta..." She said as she wrapped her arms around his waist. 

"For so long I waited..."

✩BONUS✩

Yuuta's and y/n's heartfelt hugging was interrupted by a series of claps, ranging from 'zenin's can die' girl, to 'I love onigiri' man.

Yuuta and y/n immediately stopped hugging, one looked away and tried to look back at them, while the other stared directly into Maki's eyes.

Maki wolf-whistled as she said "This is ten thousand times better than any drama I've ever watched."

Inumaki was surprised and confused "Shake shake konbu!? [you watch dramas?!]" He asked. 

Maki snorted "N- no I don't, b- but I know how shitty they can be!" She said, while y/n analysed her "She's lying." Y/n said smirking in revenge.

Inumaki looked at her expectantly, with one eyebrow raised "Shake okaka okaka... [There's nothing wrong with that...]" He said, while Yuuta nodded.

Maki huffed "Inumaki is saying that only because he watches drama's too!" She said, pointing an accusing finger at him. Inumaki widened his eyes as he shook his head furiously.

"Inumaki's lying too." Y/n said in a drone, while Inumaki looked at her with betrayal in his eyes [Inumaki rn: YoU bEtRayYyYEeD mEeE, aNd I kNow ThAt yOu'Ll nEveR FeeL SorRy~]

In the end, Inumaki and Maki watched a drama together as they hugged each other and cried.
