Chapter 20

"Sivaangi maaaa", Ashwin called for the nth time knocking on her door.
He got frustrated waiting for Sivaangi to open the door. He leaned on the door tapping it weakly.

"Shivuuu", he called for the last time before she opened the door and made Ashwin tremble.

"Enna Ashwineyy", Sivaangi asked annoyed.

"Evalo nerama orre manushan kattherene, orre reply panniya ?", Ashwin asked with a tap on her head.

"Heyy, enna addikiringeh ?", Sivaangi asked back.

"Aiyoo rombeh periya addi", Ashwin mocked.

"Ashwineyyyy", Sivaangi frowned.

"Okay ma okay ma, sorry", Ashwin caressed her hair.

"Ippo yen inggeh vanthingeh", Sivaangi asked.

"Unne pakke thaan", Ashwin said winking.

Sivaangi's fluttered looking at at little wink. Made her heart go wild.

"Athe theriyethu, ivalo avasaram ah yen kuptinggeh", Sivaangi asked.

"Innike office poriya ?", Ashwin asked.

"Yes, ithelle enna santhegam", Sivaangi shrugged her shoulder.

"Evening naa pick up pannikiren", Ashwin smiled.

"Yen thidirnu ? Ninggeh restaurant le irupangale", Sivaangi asked confused.

"Soldren", Ashwin smiled again.

"Please tell me now ?", Sivaangi made a puppy face.

"No", Ashwin replied sternly.

"Pongeh Ashwineyy", Sivaangi pushed him.

"Nijamave poiduven ?", Ashwin asked teasing her.

"Pongeh", she replied.

"Porenn..", he said taking a few steps.

Sivaangi pulled him by the shirt bringing him close to her. Ashwin smiled, Sivaangi smiled. They looked into each others eyes. Sivaangi pecked a kiss on Ashwin's cheek.

"Ippo pongeh", she said.

"Pogenuma ?", he asked.

"Restaurant open panne venama ", she asked.

"Okay, evening pakkelam", he winked and left.

Sivaangi kept thinking about what was about to happen this evening. She barely concentrated on her work. The only thing she did was checking her watch to see the time. Time seems like running slow today.

Meanwhile, Rakshan couldn't take his eyes of Aadhya all day. Whatever he do, his eyes are always on Aadhya.

"Dey, konjam velayum paar da", Ashwin tapped Rakshan's shoulder.

"Semma ponne macha ava. Rombeh sweet ah iruka", Rakshan said smiling.

"Avalum unne paakura, okay ayidum ne nenaikiren", Ashwin said.

"Ade poda, naanum apdi cross pandren ippedi cross pandren, pakkurale thavira orre vaarthe pesa maatra", Rakshan said in frustration.

"Konjam konjam ah pesu, ellam okay ayidum", Ashwin advised.

"Niyellam enakku advice pandre nelamai", Rakshan rolled his eyes.

While they were talking, Aadhya began walking towards them. She looked nervous. Wait, she wasn't walking to 'them', she was walking to Rakshan.

"Dey, ave un kitte thaa vara", Ashwin whispered.

"Ippo enna da pandrathe?", Rakshan freaked out.

"Patharathe da, naa appediye ulle poren. Nee pesu", Ashwin whispered and began walking to the kitchen.

"Dey deyy", Rakshan whispered but Ashwin left. Before he could prepare, Aadya was there.

"Hi", Aadhya said with a shy smile.

"Hello", Rakshan said trying to cover his shaky voice.

"Busy ah ?", she asked.

"Illeh illeh, kaal vazhikithe athaa chumma nikkelam ne vanthen", Rakshan blabbered which he instantly regretted.

"Uh ?", Aadhya asked confused.

"Illeh, ninggeh sollungeh, enna vishayam ?", Rakshan finally gained the courage to ask.

After a moment of silence,

"Ninggeh enna daily pakkurethe enakku theriyum", she said.

"Aiyo naa sathiyama--", Rakshan tried to deny it.

"Ungge number kedaikuma ?", Aadhya asked shyly.

Rakshan took a few seconds to process what just happened.

"Enna kettingeh ?", Rakshan asked for confirmation.

"Unggeh number", Aadhya reply with a shy smile.

Illayaraja music plays for Rakshan who's in cloud nine. He grinned wide showing all of his teeth.

"Yayyy success", Ashwin cheered from the kitchen entrance.

"Adapavi, ivalo neram otte kettiya ?", Rakshan asked.

"Naa mattum ah ketten ?", Ashwin pointed to Niraj who was listening beside him excitedly.

Aadhya got shy and ran to the main area.

"Aadhya, number vangaleyeh?", Rakshan followed her.

Ashwin and Niraj giggled looking at this new lovebirds.

Finally, evening arrived. Ashwin was already waiting infront Sivaangi's office. After about 15 minutes wait, she finally came. She ran towards the car with a smile. She got in and gave Ashwin a hug.

"Enggeh porom ?", she asked excitedly.

"Wait pannu ma", Ashwin said.

"Aiyo sollungeh Ashwiney", Sivaangi asked.

"Okay okay polam, konja neram wait pannu ma please", Ashwin smiled and started driving.

The route seemed familiar. That is the route they take every day. Sivaangi was confused. Where is he bringing her in this route ?

After about 10 minutes drive they reached at The Magnolia.

"We're here", Ashwin smiled.

"What are we doing at the restaurant ? It's already past closing time", Sivaangi asked confused.

"You will know soon", Ashwin replied.

A/N: does anyone know how I got the name The Magnolia ? It's actually a movie I watched on Netflix called The Magnolia. I loved that movie. They own a restaurant called The Magnolia. Has anyone watched it ?
