Chapter 34

"These are not the goons I arranged", Vishal said.

"What do you mean ?", Sivaangi yelled.

"Appo ivangeh original ah ?", Rakshan asked.

"There's no time, we need to save them both", Vishal said as he stepped forward to the fight scene.

Before he could forward another step, a goon who just punched Ashwin flew away. Everyone including Shekar was stunned by what just happened.

Ashwin stared at each one of the goons as he was ready to square them.

"Ashwin did that ?", Aadhya gasped.

Everyone is now smiling seeing Ashwin in his full form.

"I'm gonna help him", Vishal said and took a step.

"Wait", Sivaangi held his hand.

"Let go Sivaangi, he needs help", Vishal insisted.

"He will take care of them", Sivaangi smiled and said. 

The next five minutes was Ashwin using the goons as a punching bag. Each one of them laid on the road moaning in pain, not being able to stand up. Meanwhile everyone clapped and cheered.

Sivaangi ran to Ashwin and hugged him tightly. She didn't care if Shekar was there. Ashwin was bleeding but this was the best medicine for his wound.

"Are you okay ?", Sivaangi asked.

"Wasn't expecting the dummy plan to turn real, but I'm okay", Ashwin giggled.

All the cheering and clapping stopped when they realized Shekar exist there. Everyone looked at Shekar who was watching Ashwin and Sivaangi.

"Hmm hmm", Rakshan faked a cough.

Ashwin and Sivaangi broke the hug and looked at Shekar terrified.

Everyone was expecting Shekar to turn Hulk as usual but that's not what happened. Instead, Shekar smiled. The smile that contained thousand meaning, but most importantly, the agreement on their relationship.

Everyone once again cheered and clapped. The Avengers gathered for a group hug.

"We did it", Adi exclaimed.

"Yesss", Rakshan screamed in joy.

Shekar looked at Adi in complete shock. Isn't he supposed to me mad ?

"Uncle, enakke ithe munnadiye theriyum", Adi said.

"Dey ivanuke Tamil theriyuthu da", Rakshan said making everyone laugh again.

The prayers afterwards went way happier than they imagined.

At home,

Ashwin walked in to Meena ma's room to find her in sitting on the bed, looking at a picture. This time, she wasn't crying, instead she was smiling.

"Ma", Ashwin called as he stood at the door.

"Come",Meena ma said.

Ashwin sat beside her and looked at the photo she was looking at.

"28 years of misery, we're finally united as a family again", Meena ma said.

"Is this Appa ?", Ashwin asked.

Meena ma nodded, Ashwin teared up looking at the man in the picture. He finally knew who his father is.

"He would've been so proud to see you as a charming grown man", Meena ma said.

"I'm sure he will be watching us", Ashwin smiled.

"I'm sorry you had to go through a rough life", Meena ma said.

"It only made me value a family much more. Everything will be great after this, our lifes only will be filled with happiness", Ashwin said holding her hand.

Meena ma smiled and looked proud of how wise her son is.

After a while of talking with Meena ma, Ashwin walked out from the room and made his way to the kitchen to get some water. He didn't realise Shekar at the dining table, so he walked pass him.

"Ashwin", Shekar called hesitantly.

Ashwin stopped and looked around and found the voice coming from the dining room. Ashwin just stared at Shekar in confusion.

"Ye..yes ?", Ashwin asked.

Shekar walked to Ashwin and hugged him. It was too much for Ashwin to process so he just stood there in shock. Shekar broke the hug and said,

"I know a sorry is not going to compensate the misery I put Meena and you through this 28 years. I thought I was doing what's best for her, but I didn't realize having you with her is the best thing for he. I made the biggest sin of separating a child from the mother, I know I can't do anything to get rid of it. I just want you to know that, I'm regretting what I've done", Shekar said.

Ashwin was honestly surprised to hear those words from Shekar. It took a moment for him to digest it.

"Everyone makes mistake, you've redeem yourself when you apologized for it. Let's just forget the past and lead a happy life here after", Ashwin smiled and said.

Shekar just smiled and he was proud of how wise this young man is.
