It's been four weeks of the winter holiday, and also tonight will be a new year celebration. Actually I didn't really celebrate new year every year with my mom. There's only a greet from her.
But, this year I felt something different. Because right now, my mom bring me to the supermarket. She said that she want to buy meat and something she didn't tell.
"Nari, did you want something more?" Mom asked while putting bell peppers in the shopping cart. I shook my head as an answer.
Then I walk beside her, "How about this year, we celebrate the new year?" Mom asked.
"That's great!" Me answering while nods my head. I could see she's smile listen to my answer.
"It's been long time we didn't celebrate it, no, we never did it I guess!" Continue her.
I just answer her by nodding.
When we waiting to pay, suddenly my phone vibrate in my hoodie pocket. I pull it out, and it shows some chats from Felix.

No, thanks.|
Without lingering, I replied his chats brief as I could. Then I put back my phone and helping my mom.
Night comes, and it's already 8 p.m . We were busy with mom roasted the meat and me helping her behind the house.
Not gonna lie, I actually felt kind of happy when I can spend time with mom like right now. It's a rare moment for us.
I really hope, when the new year coming we could spend more time together with a happy atmosphere.
"Nari, can you open the door? Someone's ring the bell outside." I'm too adrift with my own thoughts, and I didn't realize the bell sounds until mom woke up me.
I nodded then walked to the front room to open the door. And guess what, once I opened the door, I found Felix standing with his wide smile.
