Welcome lovely people to the sequel of my first Outsiders Imagines story, which ended somewhat recently. But with newfound inspiration, I've decided to come back and create an ENTIRE new story!! I hope you guys like this one just as much as y'all liked the other one! As always, Darry first.

Your face stung as you ran out of your house, tears falling along your cheeks.
It was the middle of the night and your drunken father strikes you across the face with his belt while your mom was hiding in the corner, sobbing and cowering with fear.
You stubble along the road, being careful not to trip on anything. You pass the lot, where you see a quick glimpse of embers, the remains of Johnny's fire.
Before you know it you're at the Curtis house and without hesitation you enter.
The house is dark and quiet, which was strange as it's always loud and busy. This must be what the house is like at 3am.
You creep upstairs slowly, avoiding the steps that creak and you walk lightly on your toes as you hit the carpet.
You pass Pony and Soda's room, pausing at their door to look at them. You smiled.
Soda's arms were wrapped tightly around his bother and it looked as though Pony had all the blankets, but Soda didn't look even remotely cold. The love they shared was so unique and special.
You slowly turned around and started again to Darry's room.
When you reached his room, in the dim, pale moonlight shining through the window, you could see Darry's sleeping face. You decided to crawl in with him.
You snuggled close to him, moving his arms accordingly so that way they were wrapped around your body.
"Y/N?" Darry mumbled, shifting slightly.
"Hi Darry." You whisper, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you."
"It's ok." He replies, pulling me closer to his warm chest and planting a kiss on your head.
You hold onto him tightly and close your eyes, savoring every second of this beautiful moment.
"Darry?" You whisper, breaking the silence, "I need to tell you something."
"Of course, sweets."
"My dad hit me again-"
Darry didn't let you finish. He grabbed you and flipped you over so you were lying on top of him. You wrap your arms around his neck and rest there.
"I'm so sorry that happened to you." Darry whispered, "you don't deserve it."
You lay there quietly, listening to what he has to say while at the same time you're listening to his steady heartbeat.
"I want to take this away from you my dear." He said, "I really do."
You knew very well that Darry would do anything to ensure that you were safe. That's when you got an idea.
"Let me live with you."
You could see a large, beautiful smile spread across Darry's face as he nods several times with excitement, kissing you repetitively.
"That's an amazing idea, Y/N." Darry whispered.
You laugh a little at his sincerity. He was so sweet.
"Darry I love you so much." You whisper, leaning close to him, grazing your lips on his.
"I love you too, sweetie." He replies, kissing you passionately, "you're the greatest thing that's ever happened to me."
