The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted at Heathrow Airport with their children departing on vacation during the children's half-term break. However, they were not with everyone else: The family was in the airport's private Windsor suite.

Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Eleanor (13), Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (6) and Prince Louis (3) were spotted unloading luggage from their car outside Heathrow's Windsor Suite with the children carrying their own backpacks. Neither their vacation destination nor their arrival in London has been specified and it is likely that they will not announce it, as this is a private trip and the family is entitled to some privacy. But it is known that Eleanor is due to return to Le Rosey School in Switzerland on Sunday, October 31 and George and Charlotte start classes at Thomas Battersea School on Monday, November 1.

According to informants, the family was divided in two groups to travel, in one flight was the Duchess of Cambridge with Princess Eleanor and Prince Louis and in the second flight Prince William boarded with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. This due to an ancient rule that protects the future of the monarchy, in which the heirs to the throne cannot travel together. Prince William is second in line to the throne while Princess Eleanor is third.

It is known that Eleanor, before her twelfth birthday, traveled for the last time with her father, in August last year, when the Duke and Duchess went to leave her for the first time at Le Rosey school. From now on, the teenager, who is already almost the same height as her mother, Kate Middleton, will have to board a different flight than William.
