The next morning, you could almost cut the tension with a knife as they set the bag of ingredients on the kitchen counter, and unpack.

Until the angel decides that’s not an option anymore, and stops, asking,

“My dear, please. What happened last night that makes you feel I deserve this...silence?”

Crowley purses his lips, shaking his head in feigned ignorance as he plays dumb, “What silence? That would imply something did happen last night, wouldn’t it?”

Aziraphale turns to look right at him, eyes flaring as he says, “Are you just going to ignore how you left me to walk home on my own mere moments after we talked to apparently the only other demon in Amsterdam, who just happens to know you and is competing against us?”

Crowley keeps up the act, “The hotel wasn’t that far. You said so yourself.”

The angel snaps, “That is not the point, and you know it. What. Happened?”

The demon, unfortunately, doesn’t get a chance to reply, as Esther comes bursting in, demanding,

“Are they here? Where are they?”

Aziraphale explains quickly, “I invited her.”, and Esther speaks up for herself, “Like I’d ever miss a chance to miss meeting Their Highnesses.”

Not much later, the shop is flooded with press, bodyguards, and Their Highnesses.

Crowley is speaking to Catarina herself, explaining, “They’re all my own personal recipes. Nothing goes on my shelves without my thorough approval.”

The lovely Catarina replies, “Your shop truly is wonderful, Mr. Crowley.”, and even Crowley can’t help the flush of pride at having his life’s work praised,

“Thank you, Your Majesty. I’m quite proud of it.”

But then, Elisabeth speaks up, addressing Aziraphale, who’s following closely behind,

“And you, Mr. Fell? Are you loving Amsterdam as much as the rest of us?”

The angel quickly answers, trying to cover his slight nervousness, “Oh, absolutely, your Highness. My only regret is not coming sooner.”

Crowley is the only one who could even come close to understanding the truth in that statement, but Elisabeth just smiles, and replies,

“Well, for my part, I am very happy you did.”

And Catarina adds, “And I as well.”

The angel smiles fondly at them, whispering a silent blessing for their upcoming nuptials.

Once the blessing has been cast, he asks, in complete awe, “My dear, that necklace is exquisite.”, causing Catarina to place a hand over it, smiling, as Aziraphale adds, “Are those Dahlias?”
