When a day starts, you're never certain what will happen, if you are a planner then you only know what it should look like, not how it would, and sometimes that uncertainty drives people to the edge of the cliff, and for once I wasn't there. I was content, I was happy, and waking up to see the most beautiful human being on the planet has its own perks too.
I tuck in the flower over the messy bun, running my hand down the purple knee-length dress, looking over one more time on the mirror before turning to go into Jen's room.
Today was the D-day.
The day she will finally be able to get her happy ending, although it's just the beginning of a new journey, we gotta enjoy the small happy endings in life.
