My baby said he loved me
My baby said he need me
Gonna eat, sleep and breathe me out
'Til the end
But then my baby went bad
I guess he had a relapse
Had to sneak, cheat and bring me down
It had to end.

The circle of life is weird, some people live their whole life in a stable pace, able to enjoy the certainty and constancy in their life while complaining about adventure, conflict and excitement.

While people facing adventures and conflicts are searching for stability and normality in their life. It's like the saying goes, we always want what we can't have. Always.

I straightened my posture again as I sat up and stared at the patient in front of me, the aura of confidence radiating from her is intoxicating and knowing that this is the result of our effort makes me smile.

"So, Jen, how are you doing these days?", I asked with a smile as she gave me one in return as she giggled.

"It's great. The anxiety, stress is almost gone. I'm sober for 6 months now and I'm in a stable relationship, my confidence has leveled up. All thanks to you Zaira.", she said as her eyes glittered with happiness.

Jen is an Ex-Army, she faced high level of anxiety and stress which she coped with drinking, there were days when we both sat in this room for hours while she cried and said she can't get better but when I look at her now, the happiness, love, confidence pouring out from her is undeniable.

She was one of my first clients and seeing her finally on her two feet like this makes me happy beyond limits.

"No, Jen it was all you. If you didn't do what I told you to, we wouldn't be here. We would be back to square one but you listened and here we are. The last day of our session.", I said as tears glistened my eyes a little.
