This was almost unrealistic, how the hell is he here? Then I connected the dots, this is a huge party and filled with prestigious people, him not being here is odder than him being here.
"Are you okay?", he asked as he softly tilted back my head to see the marks on my neck, making me want to cower away and hide somewhere.
"I'm fine.", I turned away as the tears filled my eyes. I didn't want to seem like a weak person, not to someone who I have just met once.
"It's okay to not be fine.", he uttered softly but my eyes stayed down.
"But I am fine. He can't break me so easily.", I uttered slowly, as if telling myself rather than him.
"But that doesn't mean it wouldn't hurt.", I looked up and the sight was new.
His purple hair was gone now, his face was sharper with the jet-black colour of his hair and it made his eyes twinkle under the sky.
"Thank you. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't come.", he nodded as he stood up.
"Can you walk?", he asked as he looked at my shaking form.
"I think so...", I tried to get up but as soon as my legs hit the ground, the ground seemed to slip away making me stumble a little before Taeyong's hand balanced me back to my feet.
