Vanessa was awake and we had gotten invited to Violet's birthday party which was nice because Colby and Diana were finally gonna spend time with Violet.
As we arrived I heard Tanya say something that made Colby's face drop and my blood boil. "She is happy without her father." She said talking to Vanessa.
I felt anger build inside of me until I heard the cutest voice. "Daddy!" I saw Violet fly out the house and run into Colby's arms which made my heart melt. Colby's started to cry as he held little Violet in his arms. Vanessa looked up in shock, Tanya looked over too and I glared at her.
Diana walked over Vanessa, "This is for you Aunt Vivi, I missed you." She said holding a flower and a picture she drew for her.
Although it was all a touching moment, I was still infuriated with what Tanya said. I looked up and my eyes locked with Vanessa. A wave of emotions hit me like a ton of bricks, my eyes watered as did hers.
"Hey Vivi." I said softly.
