Steve begins walking forward, so everyone else follows suit, the pace picking up as both sides get closer. Tony, Rhodey, Sam, and Wanda take to the air, and Kate knows that all this running isn't going to be good for her if she has to fight. But who can she fight?

T'Challa, maybe, though that's still not great. And more than mildly scary. Spider-Man is just a kid, clearly. She can't fight a kid. But she definitely can't fight anybody else either.

Everyone collides, Tony and Steve starting the fight. The people in the air focus on the air, and Kate lights up, looking around. Clint shoots an arrow. "Now would be the time for a fireball, Kate."

"How can you ask me to do that?"

He sighs. "I know. It wouldn't burn Tony and Rhodey, though. They'd be okay."

Nat shakes Ant-Man and comes for Clint while Wanda pulls trucks and things into the air, getting in Spider-Man's way. Bucky is fighting T'Challa. Everything else is a blur.

Kate sighs, knowing Clint's right. She blasts at Tony and Rhodey when she has a shot, just to knock them back. They're too distracted by who they're fighting to retaliate.

To Kate's left, Nat swings at Clint with one of her batons. Clint dodges, swinging back around with his bow. She blocks, twists his arm around, and he grabs her other arm, spinning her and flipping her over his shoulder. He brings his bow down towards her, and she holds it back. "We're still friends, right?"

"Depends on how hard you hit me," Clint replies. Tony and Rhodey get out of Kate's range, so she turns her attention to Nat and Clint.

Nat swings her legs up, getting them around Clint's arm and taking him to the ground while she gets back on her feet. She pauses, seeing Kate standing there with heated hands. "You should've thrown a fireball, backed him up."

"Against you?" Kate replies.

"Well, he needed it."

She extinguishes her hands. "I won't burn you, Nat."

"I know. Thank you," she replies. "But you're still gonna fight me, aren't you?"

"Well... it might not be so different from sparring. I'm out of options here."

"Made too many friends."

"Don't I know it."

Nat smirks, putting away her batons, and Clint gets off the ground, looking between them warily but leaving anyway to go help somebody else. Nat steps forward, and Kate, swallowing, does, too. This is no different than sparring. Somebody will move first, and then it'll be a blur and she'll probably end up on the ground tapping out unless it's a particularly good day. And today is not a good day.

Nat steps forward, swinging first, and Kate dodges, coming back around to grab her wrist. Before she can get a good grip, Nat gets her arm free and grabs Kate instead, spinning her around. Kate slams back and hits the ground, going for her legs. Nat topples but rolls, barely giving Kate time to get back on her feet. She punches, landing a blow, but it's not enough to stop Nat from getting up and swinging again. This time, Kate can't dodge it, and she gets knocked back, then regains her balance and dodges Nat's next attack before landing another blow of her own. Nat catches her next swing, then goes to deal another kick, but her foot is caught in red light, then she's thrown back against a metal truck with a loud thud.

"Wanda!" Kate shouts, watching Nat hit the ground.

"You were pulling your punches," Wanda replies.

Kate sighs, makes sure Nat's okay, then goes to find somebody else.
