✌Fangirl Mania: Rock Lee✌

After reading the past Fangirl articles, I have come to a conclusion. This is just my personal opinion so correct me if I'm wrong, but why are the more desired characters used often to fangirl over? I guess the more pleasant a character’s physical appearance is the better chances they have for an increase of fan base. That’s the way the world works.

So, in spite of this fact, I am going to fangirl over some of the less shown, maybe less attractive characters of the show. Starting off this week I will fangirl over a personal favorite of mine: Rock Lee.

Picture this: You are a ninja in a village, surrounded by kid prodigies and Jinchurikies. You are unable to show your worth to them because you can only use taijutsu and you have a bowl cut AND abnormally large eyebrows.

This is what Rock Lee has had to deal with HIS WHOLE LIFE. But he still holds his own against Naruto, Sasuke and Neji, and is considered a valuable asset to Konoha. He even goes through LIFE THREATENING surgery that could’ve possibly removed his ability to use taijutsu, but, incredibly, he survives.

I'm seriously not trying to offend anyone by saying this, but in terms of the morals that the whole Naruto series is trying to get across; Rock Lee is a better character than most. He honestly deserved more screen time then some other characters and he just never got that. Then the whole Naruto SD thing came around and made him look like the fool of Konoha! Not hating on that though, it gave me a NaruHina wedding >.<...

Seriously though, he deserves more fans in my eyes and is seriously under appreciated by most readers and his own friends. Look past the blatantly ugly bowl cut, bushy brows, and clothes that could kill, and see him for his true worth!!! I <3 ROCK LEE GUYS AND I A NOT AFRAID TO SAY IT!!!
