Naturally curious, Kari can’t help but question her existence. Why are they keeping secrets from her? How does her new Sensei know Kari’s deceased mother? Who are the people in the photographs? Why can’t Kari remember her childhood? Who killed her grandmother? Why is it that she can’t know these secrets, when they’re about her in the first place?!”

This story is amazing, and @nicevibe has truly outdone herself this time. Now, the OC in this story, Kari Yamada, is a Jinchūriki of an artificial tailed beast. But she doesn’t know about tailed beasts, or chakra for that matter. She has no clue she harbors this beast. She’s been living in a mountain in Yukigakure (Hidden Snow) her whole life. One day, two men suddenly appear and Kari’s world gets turned upside down.

It’s a unique spin on what these days would be considered a cliché plot (OC is a Jinchūriki). The plotline is well developed, and the chapters flow into each other like many streams converging into one giant lake. I can unreservedly recommend this story to anyone and everyone looking for a good fanfiction that will leave you wanting more at the end.

Status: Completed

But he’s got a long list of challenges to face before he gets there!”

What a wonderful story idea! A next gen story that actually connects to the Narutoverse plotline, no more mysterious wives of Uchiha Sasuke that have a daughter! Hooray!

But seriously now, this is an excellent series and currently has three volumes out, all of which are completed. This story is well-developed, the plotline not to complex that the reader gets confused but also not so predictable that the reader gets bored-a balance that’s really hard to keep when writing a next gen story.

I also love how the author drops subtle hints of romance that do not overshadow the actual plot. That in itself is an accomplishment because many writers find it hard to keep the storyline balanced between action and romance.

The character development in this story is excellent. It feels as if Kishimoto-san is actually writing it sometimes. Every now and then, I just want to scream at Chan for being so stupid and other times I feel so sorry for Himawari. Not to mention poor, poor Inoiji.

 Title: Enamoured

Genre: Modern AU

Status: Ongoing

Synopsis: “Never had he expected for someone in that kind of place to peek his interest, let alone be it someone from his past. He never was charitable, but the conscience which he hardly acknowledged, pushed him to help. An attraction blooms, but will it go further?”

For starters, it says in the description that this story is a bit on the mature side and I agree. Please stay away if you are 12 years old or under. Only because of the swearing and the fact that the story line really is not for kiddies (there’s no sex scenes…...yet)

But, other than that, what a great story! A well-written, hard-hitting story that shows us that we have to deal with our mistakes. And finally, a modern story where Sasuke is not a male model/billionaire! How relieved I am!

Indeed, this is the story of a girl who made some bad decisions, and has to work in a strip club to support her child (no, the baby is NOT Sasuke’s). This story is about a stubborn, independent woman who loves her child, and it shows you her emotional toils as she rides on the roller coaster that is life.

And the chemistry between Kimi and Sasuke that is there but not one of them reacts just makes me want to ARGH! You will become totally enveloped in the storyline, you’ll laugh and grunt and cry with the characters, and you’ll feel like you yourself are there.

For anyone looking for a great, mature, realistic story….This is THE one to pick.
