Chapter 1

"This is gonna be a great day! Good morning Mr. Skittles." as I said while stretching my back bones. Hi, I'm Claudette and this is my boring life. I work as an accountant in a real estate company and I do not like it one bit. It's stressful and the management doesn't really care about their employees but why am I still there you ask me? They pay good.

"Are you hungry Mr. Skittles?" I asked my tabby orange cat that's already scratching my leg.  I gave my cat a pet in his forehead and gave him some cat food.

"Goodbye Mr. Skittles. Be a good boy that you always are." I said goodbye and went to the office. Today is a Saturday and the company have team building in the mountains. The HR said that we will be camping for 3 days and 2 nights.

"Bestie!!!!!" I heard a shout from a distance. It's my friend Serenity. She also works at this real estate company as a marketing assistant.

"Where are the others?" I asked while looking around. "I haven't seen them. Are they still on the way?" Talking about our 3 other friends. January, Blessy and Rhyme. Yes all of them have a unique cute name while mine is normal but they have a cute nickname to me.

"Yeah. Are you sad that you're stuck with me for now huh Cloudy?" She looks offended but with a smile on her face.

"Of course I'm not sad to be stuck with you. It's just that it's already call time and they are still not around. What if we already left when they got here?" I do sound like mother..

"Don't worry. They'll be here on time. I'm kinda worried about your cat though. Who will stay with your cat now that we're gonna be gone for 3 days? At least my babies are at my parents house." She's talking about her dogs. She has a lot. As she said that the 3 late comers had arrived.

"My brother will be staying at my apartment because of his licensure exam. He said he's gonna study there because it's quiet and he need to focus. Speaking of the devil here they come." As I pointed towards the 3 walking towards us.

"I thought we're gonna be late! Hahaha!!! We got here on time wohoo!!" January shouted.

"Let me guess, one of you woke up late?" I asked.
"No. We're stuck on a traffic jam! There's an accident where a bus hit an ambulance." Blessy said.
"There's no dead right?" Serenity asked.
"Thank the heavens no one was dead but I heard both of the drivers were injured. The ambulance looked totaled. Thankfully there's no passenger on both vehicles so it's only damage to property." Blessy answered.
"I hope that is not an omen." I said. I kinda believed in superstitions and the paranormal maybe because I watch too much of it.
"Don't be like that! This is gonna be a great day and we're gonna have fun on this 3 days."Rhyme said. I still have a bad feeling but if they said it's gonna be fine then who am I to be a kill joy.

"You guys are with bus number 4 along with Sir Bobet as team leader. You can ask him or other HR personnel if you have inquiries and other problems. Have fun!" As the HR said.

"It's time to come aboard!" Blessy shouted. This girl really has the energy of a 5-year-old.
"We're going on a bus not a cruise ship!" January said while looking at Blessy. We just all laughed and went to our seats at the front of the bus because Rhyme and I have motion sickness.

"Once we arrived at the camp, we'll wait for the announcements for the activities and room assignments. 5 person per room as per HR. For now enjoy the ride and sight seeing." Sir Bobet said. For now I'm just going to sleep because I couldn't sleep last night. I'm too excited for this trip.
