*Recap
"Now have you ever been to a masquerade ball, Ms. Forbes?" He asked smirking.
"No, I haven't. Why?" I asked excited.
"Because we're going to a ball." He smirked.
"You want me to go to a ball?" I asked excitedly.
"Yes. Will you go to a ball with me, Ms. Forbes?" He asked smirking.
"I would loved to, Mr. Mikaelson." I said curtsying as he bowed.
"Good. I'll have a dress at your motel by the time you arrive. I'll pick you up at six o'clock. Is the timing sufficient enough for you, Ms. Forbes?" He asked formally, and I chuckled.
"Why of course, Mr. Mikaelson. Until tonight." I said curtseying.
"Until tonight." He bowed with a smirk, and I swooshed away.
"Yeah!" I squealed as I walked towards my motel.
"What? Have you never seen a girl before?" I smirked with a hand on my hip at a guy staring at me. He had light skin, dark curly hair, tall, and very muscular build, also no heartbeat.
"Not one as beautiful as you." He said smoothly.
"Nice try. I've heard better." I shrugged in boredom.
"Really, is that so?" He asked pushing himself from wall.
"Yes, really. Now, I have to get going. Things to do, places to be, and people to see." I said looking at him. He chuckled raising his eyebrows.
"Where to?" He asked smirking.
"Why? Are you going to stalk me?" I asked raising my eyebrows at him as I crossed my arms.
"Maybe." He shrugged.
"The right answer was, no." I said laughing.
"I was just kidding. Here's your dress, and shoes." He said smiling.
"You have them!" I about screamed. I quickly swooshed over towards him, and snatched the boxes away.
"Thank you!" I yelled as I quickly swooshed into my room without anyone noticing. I quickly rushed into the shower. I washed my hair, and body with a lavender scent.
"I'm going to a ball with Klaus Mikaelson." I chuckled as I wrapped the towel around my body, and quickly blow dried my hair. After taking a quick peek at the dress, and noticing the colors were gold I started on my hair, and makeup. I had on gold eyeshadow, eyeliner, red lipgloss, and mascara. I then slipped on the dress, shoes, and mask. The dress was a tight fitted top with a heart neckline, and flowed past my feet in silk. The shoes were black heels with golden sparkles, and a black mask with intricate gold details.
"Perfect! Oh no! What time is it?" I asked myself worried.
"It's only five thirty?" I asked myself stunned.
"Blood it is." I laughed lightly. I froze in place as heard a knock at the door and took a calming breath as I sat my glass down and walked to the door.
"Hello, Love, you look ravishing." He smirked. He wore a black tux with a white undershirt and you could see his chain hardly viable at his neckline.
"You don't look too bad yourself." I winked and he smiled. I took a small breath as I hooked my arm with his. My eyes widened as we walked outside and a carriage sat parked beside the sidewalk. I smiled as I walked closer to it letting go of Klaus as I smiled at the carriage. A white horse was at the front while the carriage was black with gold and silver intricate designs. I held my breath as I reached my and out and rubbed it over the horses mane. The hair was thick, and ruff, but it felt silky as it fell through my fingers.
"Do you like it, Love?" Klaus whispered behind me and I smiled.
"This is for us?" I whispered smiling and he nodded.
"I love it!" I exclaimed waking towards him. I wrapped my arms around one of his while I hugged him tightly.
"It's amazing!" I smiled kissing his cheek.
"I'm glad you like it, after you." He smiled as he held his arm out towards the carriage steps. I felt giddy like I was on my first date with the popular guy in highschool, I felt normal, happy.
"Thank you." I whispered as he held his hand out to help me up.
"So what's this masquerade about? I mean why have it?" I asked as I enjoyed the view of the city.
"It's New Orleans, Love, no real need for a party. Although, this one is special." He conceded while smirking and I rose my eyebrows.
"Because?" I questioned and He smiled.
"It's the reunion today." He said and I frowned.
"Reunion for what?" I asked.
"The Original family is back home." He said proudly and I frowned.
