*Recap
"You Mikaelsons can't take a hint." I grumbled as I walked to the passenger side and glared at Elijah while he just stood there.
"Are you coming?" I asked annoyed.
"Of course." He said smiling as he got into the drivers side after I already got in. We drove in silence and I looked at the old buildings. Near to three, or four blocks Elijah stopped the car and parked. It was an old styled red brick building, but it had a sense of modern elegance, yet a fun party style also, with the name 'Suzette's In & Out'. I stepped out of the car just as Elijah came around the side trying to open the door.
"Thanks, but I can open my door." I said as I grabbed the bag I had for an over night stay, and walked beside Elijah. There at the desk stood an older lady. She had long gray hair, tan skin, light wrinkles under her eyes, bright green eyes, and the way she held herself made her seem letal.
"Hi! I already have my room booked. My name's Caroline Forbes." I said kindly while she flipped though some papers.
"Hello. It's right here. It says you'll be the only one staying. Would you like to add to that?" She asked sweetly.
"No!" I yelled embarrassed.
"I'll just be visiting." Elijah said politely.
"Alright then. Here's your key, number nine." She said as she handed me the key with a number nine engraved on it.
"That was mortifying." I whispered embarrassed as I speed walked to my room. I quickly unlocked the door and walked in leaving it open for Elijah. I looked around the room for a moment. The walls are a cream color, paintings all around the walls, a white leather recliner, a white leather couch, and the carpet was black, with a window in the front.
"You can come back in an hour. I should be done by then." I said trying not to show fear.
"No, I think I'll wait." He said.
"Um, okay." I said awkwardly as I rushed to the bathroom. I quickly turned the shower on setting the right temperature, then I quickly undressed throwing my clothes on the ground in a heap. I jumped in the shower washing with dove bodywash, then shaving, and washing my hair with cherryblossm shampoo and conditioner. I quickly turned off the water, and jumped out of the shower slipping on the tiled floors almost falling. Then I looked at the clock, and noticed I was in the shower for three minutes. I sighed and grabbed my bag. I plugged the hair dryer in, then sat the clothes on the counter, and quickly slipped my matching red brawl, and panties on. Then I grabbed the rest of my things, and quickly threw them on. I quickly blow dried my hair letting it fall down my back in its natural curls. I then quickly applied my makeup. I finally looked in the mirror, and smiled satisfied with my look. I had on light-blue skinny jeans, a red tank-top, a light breezy black jacket, red pumps, red eye-shadow with black eyeshadow lining the top, eyeliner, mascara, and then light red lip-gloss. I looked at the clock, and noticed I had been in the bathroom for twelve minutes now. My world record. I thought nervous. I sighed, and opened the door waking out into the living room. Elijah was standing in front of the window staring outside.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" I asked my voice shaking.
"There is no need to be afraid. I'm sorry about last night, I lost my temper." Elijah said sincerely.
"It's all right." I said as I sat on the couch, and Elijah sat on the recliner.
"I want to talk about Niklaus." Elijah said and I felt my heart stop.
"What about?" I asked.
"He was quite happy last night after he saw you." Elijah said.
"Okay?" I said confused.
"He's asking around about you." He said, and I began to panic.
"You didn't tell him anything did you?" I asked worried.
"No. I wanted to warn you. He has people watching around the French Quarter." He said.
"Okay. I'll make sure to stay low. Will you keep me posted?" I asked, and he nodded his head.
"Have a good day, Caroline." He said as he left. I sighed, and grabbed my phone slipping it into my pocket then walking out of the house grabbing my bags. Five hours later I had a mini fridge filled with blood, the fridge filled with regular food, my things put in the closet, and bathroom.
"Hm. Finished." I sighed as I sat down on the sofa. I quickly drank a blood bag, and made sure nothing was on my face. I then grabbed my phone, and wallet walking to my car. I drove to Marcel's in hope that Davina was there. I parked outside, and was greeted by some of the other vampires.
"Caroline, how's your day going?" Marcel asked smiling brightly.
"Fine. Yours?" I asked as we sat down on the sofa.
"Wonderful." He chuckled.
"Okay! Is Davina around?" I asked smiling back at him.
"No, she went to see Camille. Why is something wrong?" He asked leaning up a bit.
"No, I was going to go see if I could find a snow cone place, and I was going to see if she wanted to come. But, since she's not here, would you like to come?" I asked trying not to embarrass myself further.
"Sure. I think I know the perfect place." He chuckled, and we both stood.
