*Recap

"So! Are going to show me your city?" I asked, and he smiled big as he held his arm out for me. I smiled, and latched my arm with his.

"Of course, Love. What kind of man would I be if I didn't show the beautiful woman my city?" He asked teasingly as we started walking.

"A very rude one. Not even a man at all in fact." I said, and he chuckled.

"So, why are you here, Love?" He asked, and I sighed.

"You know, traveling. And, aren't you supposed to be showing me your city?" I asked feigning this subject, and he chuckled.

"Avoiding the subject." He chuckled.

"Bonnie, and Damon are dead." I said, and he stopped looking at my face.

"I'm sorry." He said mournfully.

"It's okay. Everything was going down hill and, I needed a change of scenery." I continued as we started walking again.

"Well as horrible as it is to hear of your friends deaths, I'm glad you're here." He said, and I chuckled.

"Me too." I mumbled, and I saw him smirk at of the corner of my eye.

"Are you here to stay?" He asked as we walked into into an alley then a courtyard type thing.

"I don't know. I guess I'll need a little inspiration." I said jokingly.

"Hm. I guess I'll have to use my persuasive skills then." Klaus smirked, and I laughed.

"I guess so. But, I warn you I'm not as easily swayed, Mr. Mikaelson." I said formally.

"Now I wonder why that is, Ms. Forbes?" He asked curiously.

"I spent my entire Summer trying to bring my friends back while Stefan left me to save them, and Elena was an emotionless b*tch! I learned that not everything can go my way, so I'm not as hopeful." I confessed, and he sighed sadly.

"Well we'll have to change that, now won't we?" He asked smirking while I smiled shaking my head at him.

"Now have you ever been to a masquerade ball, Ms. Forbes?" He asked smirking.

"No I haven't. Why?" I asked excited.

"Because we're going to a ball." He smirked.
