♤Every night her thoughts weighed on her soul, but every morning, she would get up to fight another day, every night she survived♤
It was Alora's first day of work at the organisation and it took lots of time to finally get the right adress. Clad in a white shirt, red slacks and red heels and a cup of white mocha in hand, she entered the large building.
She walked past different people. All in white shirts and navy blue slacks. She felt Bella forgot to tell her a little piece of information, there was a dress code. She rolled her eyes, typical Bella.
She took the elevator to the fourth floor as Bella had told her and walked straight into Caspian's office, unconsciously forgetting to knock.
He looked up in surprise, even his sister knocked all the time, well unless she was extremely angry and this person opened the door too softly to be angry. His lips tugged at the corners, his surprise gone as he remembered exactly what this beauty said to him the night before, before she ran away as red as a tomato.
"Come in" he said, sarcasm dripping from his tone. She was already at his desk. She dropped the cup of coffee on his table.
"Your coffee" he touched it.
"It's no longer hot"
"Well, what am I supposed to do? Boil it?" He blinked. What? Oh so she had an attitude, this would be fun.
"You, as my PA should go get another" He rested back in his seat and watched her face morph into a scowl.
"No. No, I'm not doing that. I walked here for the love of God and you want me to walk back? Nah, not happening. You either manage it or throw it in the bin, your pick" She turned to leave. He stood up, fuming.
"What the hell?! How can you talk to me like that? I'm your fucking boss, so you do as I say!" He yelled, expecting her to cower like all his past PAs, she didn't.
Instead she looked him up in the eye, damn, he felt that look shot straight to his dick. But he was too pissed to get hard then.
"I believe this is not work related?" She challenged him and he glared at her.
"I-it is! It is work related! Your boss wants coffee, you give it to him!" Alora yawned, she was bored and this beautiful man was already tiring her out.
"Fine. You want coffee? No problem" She walked out of the office and then sighed. She frowned at herself as she walked down to the elevator, completely unaware of where the hell she was going.
She knew she was being unnecessarily rude, but something about him and his stupid smirk irked her soul.
She took the lift to the second floor and in her state of fumes, she hit someone a hard chest and she looked up to see a guy. He smiled at her, she didn't return it. Instead, she just walked past him after muttering a 'sorry'
He followed her, silently. She stopped and turned to look at him, for some strange reason, he jumped.
"Geez"
"What?" She asked in a bored tone.
"Your eyes, damn. They're beautiful yet scary. How did you- how did you do that?"
"Do what?"
"Uh, don't worry. You're new here?"
"What gave it away?"
"Uh" his eyes trailed to her slacks and she nodded.
"Right. That. A little lacing of efficient information on Bella's part." She rolled her eyes.
