A/n: I really need to be more frequent with updating oh my gosh I'm so sorry T_T. I had this half done as a draft and am only now finishing this at 11:20pm 'cause I have to much energy to even try and sleep rn lmao. Anyway, enjoy :)

The sun shone through the large wall of windows behind Kenma Kozume - famously known as Kodzuken - as he looked, begrudgingly, at the large piles of paper on his desk.

He had arrived at work 10 minutes ago, and contemplated going back home as he saw all the work that needed to be done, but he knew that decision would come back to bite him in the ass. A heavy sigh left his mouth as he picked out one of the pens from his draw, and the man got to work.

I hate paperwork

Despite this fact, he continued filling out and completing as much of the piles as he could, wanting to get it done and over with. There were resumes from people applying to work at his company, forms that needed confirmation and his signature, papers with the latest status of the company's stocks, and a lot more that were waiting to be dealt with.

As Kenma scanned through each document, placing the completed into his outbox, a knock came from the door. Kozume looked up in surprise as he was not expecting the sudden sound, but quickly regained his composure, sitting up straight in his chair and flattening out his uncomfortable suit.

"Come in."

He called, his voice loud enough to be heard through the door of the large office. The door opened, and a head of raven-coloured hair popped out from behind it.

"Kuro? What're you doing here? And at 8 in the morning?"

A goofy grin found its way into the older man's face, happy to see his husband.

"I missed you, duh."

Kuroo said, entering the office and making his way to Kenma's desk. This caused the other to roll his eyes and chuckle.

"You know that isn't a reason to come and see me. I just left home a little over half an hour ago."

A smirk rested on the man's face, amused at his partner's stupid reasoning. This caused the taller to smile at the other, now standing on the other side of the desk. Kenma took a few moments to look at his husband, becoming distracted by his figure. He was amazed at how good the man could look when he put effort into his appearance.

(This is what I imagine Kuroo wearing)

"You're staring, Kitten"

Kuroo pointed out the man's actions, chuckling when his face went bright red. Kenma glared at him, clearly annoyed at being called out.

"S-shut up... it's not my fault you look so good"

The last part was mumbled, but clear enough for the other to understand. His laughter filled the room, finding hilarity in the younger boy's words. After he calmed down, he looked up to see the other's glare had intensified. He was enjoying pissing his husband off, but didn't really want to get kicked out of the building this early in the morning.

"You don't look to bad yourself."

The bedhead said, a grin gracing his features.

(This is kinda what I think Kenma would wear to work)

At this point, there was no use in Kenma covering his blush, as it had spread across the majority of his face and had managed to reach the tip of his ears. What he could do, though, was grab a pen from next to his monitor, and throw it at his husband's goofy face.

"OW"

Kuroo helped in pain, his hand moving to rub the point of contact.

"You didn't have to start throwing shit at me!"

He whined, pouting at his lover, who was now focused on ignoring him. Instead of continuing to annoy the younger, he decided to drag a chair, that was opposite to Kenma's desk, around to sit next to his lover.

Noticing that Kuroo was not going to keep teasing him, Kenma decided to get back to finishing up his paper work. However, the older noticed, and scanned over the large stack of paper that sat, still untouched.

"Is there any of that that I can help with?"

Kuroo asked, wanting to, at least, try and take some of the load off of the other man's shoulders. At this, Kenma turned his head to look at him, thinking about whether or not there was anything he could help with. Deciding that Kuroo was smart, and capable enough to know how to not screw up anything important, he mumbled an answer.

"...You can fill out some of the things that don't need my signature. Also, leave things that are about collaborations and company deals for me; I can fill them out later."

Kuroo grinned at the boy before grabbing a pen from the cat-shaped pen holder on his desk. They both got to work, and, after about 30 minutes, the two had both finished up with their tasks. Kenma dropped his pen on the desk, letting out a relieved sigh and slouching in his desk chair, closing his eyes. A grumble sounded from his stomach.

"What's the time?"

He asked tiredly. Kuroo looked over to the clock above the door frame of the room.

"Nearly 8:40"

He answered. At this, Kenma stood up, grabbing both their pens and putting them back into their holder.

"We should go get some breakfast; I'm starting to get hungry."

He suggested, also wanting to escape his office for a little bit. Kuroo got up as well, answering with a simple 'yes'. They both gathered their phones and keys before leaving for a cafe, and continuing with the rest of their day.
