Warning: There are some hard topics mentioned here like suicide. You've been warned. This book also contains spoilers from the game!

-----------------------------------------------------

Wouldn't it be so cool if the game dimensions were real that you could visit? You could also meet your favorite characters in the game that you love to play! That was the dream of so many people, especially the younger ones, and the ones that loved to play video games. One of them was a young woman named Y/N. She was only 16 years old and playing video games was her all-time favorite hobby ever since she was a young girl. She developed that at a young age and it stuck with her ever since then.

Growing up, Y/N didn't have an easy life as a child. Her parents got divorced when she was born and grew up with her mother. Yes, even though she didn't experience the divorce as a teenager, you may think that it didn't hurt her at all. But you're so wrong... Y/N felt damaged and had a lot of pain. When she saw other kids with happy parents, still together, she felt sad. The divorce happened because Y/N's father didn't... do much for the family, even when Y/N was in her mother's womb at the time. Y/N's mother felt outraged that her husband was like someone who didn't care much about what was happening around his own family, especially to his unborn daughter.

Y/N was thankful to have food, drinks, care, love, respect, and especially a roof above her head. She got video games as a child and she once watched her mother play. As the years went on, Y/N got one day PS4 for her 16th birthday with a game named Final Fantasy XV, or FFXV for short. XV was a Roman number that said 15. It was quite tricky to remember all of the Roman numbers. You could encounter them a lot in the churches where you can read the time. Or when you search monarchs from history on the internet.

But anyways...

Final Fantasy was one of the most popular game series that you can play either on the PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or sometimes even on PC. It was the most popular series to play on the PlayStation. However, it was annoying and frustrating a lot when you get a notification from the console self that your space was almost full because of the games, and the only one to make space was probably to delete the games and the applications when you lose interest or finished the game. But if you delete the applications, then you lose your saved data, right? You have to start all over again. Damn... wasn't it also possible to save it all through a USB stick? Well, yes, it was possible. But you need a special game drive for it that Sony created.

Final Fantasy was the biggest games with a very big space so it was obvious that it will take much application space into your console. But how many games of Final Fantasy were there? Believe it or not, there are in total 95 games in the series, including 15 games core. Shocking, right? Feel free to ask Google. The last game appeared in 2020 and that was the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Who knows, maybe a new game will appear this year.

But FFXV was also from the Final Fantasy game series, yet sadly, it was not popular or known like FFVII. It was also considered a hated FF game like some others. Seriously? What was the people's problem? In Y/N's opinion, FFXV was a very fun adventure game and the best choice for a beginner for Final Fantasy games. It took Square Enix TEN YEARS (!) to create FFXV and they hoped that it would be also considered a good game to play but sadly, it attracted hate. But when you go through the comments of gameplay videos or listen to the original soundtrack of the game, it had many supporters and fans that enjoy the game a lot in their hearts. Sadly, you can't force someone to change their opinions and thoughts. It was for a lot of people hard to respect someone's opinions and thoughts that they hated while you're a fan of and loving it like FFXV. It could end in chaos at any moment.

Y/N's favorite character was the young handsome prince himself, also the main character of the book named Noctis Lucis Caelum. He was the 114th king and damn, that's so many years through the years! He was the son of King Regis and Queen Aulea. His mother sadly died when he was still an infant, it was a French word meaning 'child' if you translate it. Perhaps by an illness? It meant that sadly, Noctis grew up without a mother. But he did have a caring father who only wanted the best for his son, even though it wasn't always easy because of being a king.

Noctis had three friends who he trusted the most in his heart. Prompto was his best friend since school and you could recognize him easily by his blond hair and funny personality. He loved taking photos. Gladiolus was like Noctis' fighting trainer and maybe also the oldest of the group. His biggest hobby was survival. The last one was Ignis, Noctis' trusted royal advisor and he loved to cook. Noctis' hobby was fishing.

But let's go to the story and characters. Noctis was only 20 years. Heck, Y/N thought that he was like 18! He was send of to marry Lunafreya Nox Fleuret. She was possibly the worst character in the game and maybe also for Gladiolus. Don't get me wrong, each character looked very amazing and had their abilities! But let's go to Luna first. She was a beauty with blond hair and blue eyes. She looked beautiful more in her famous ponytail. She was kind and smart, that had a big heart for others. We needed more people like her on Earth that care for others. She also can heal. She was the younger sister of (the handsome) Ravus. But why was Luna considered the worst? Well, if you do research, you will find a lot about Stella. She was originally going to be the main heroine female character yet the creators decided to change her and so was Lunafreya born. You can find a lot more info online. Gladiolus was also considered the worst and if you played the game and followed the story, he pushed Noctis perhaps way too much hard to get him to stop mourning and be sad since he lost his father, King Regis, and his once betrothed, Lunafreya. The prince was devastated when Luna passed on and he did mourn on the train. That's when Gladio stepped in and was an asshole to him since they got to save the world from the darkness that Ardyn was causing.

Y/N found some conversations online where it was spoken about Luna and Gladio. She agreed that Gladio took it too far by pushing the prince. It was important to mourn to ease the pain but sadly, some people never heal completely, causing them to lead in pain forever. Even some people commit Suicide Grief and that was a very sad reality. Some pains can go way too far that it can become unbearable for them that they want to end it for good. Many victims felt that when someone stops them from causing Suicide Grief, then it gave them a feeling like they want them to feel more pain or don't care about their struggles. It can blind you seriously from seeing the truth that they want to help you. But sometimes, it was better to respect the victim's choice like if they wanted to leave the world to stop the pain.

But enough talking about the hard topics.

The game does have some actual sad and hard moments. One of them was like in Chapter 14: Homecoming, where Noctis finally returns to his friends 10 years after being trapped in a crystal. He looked even still handsome as a 30-year-old king! You could see some resembling his father, King Regis. But was Ardyn related to Noctis? You can search for it online. Y/N will not lie, the game does have sad moments that it can make some fans cry.

Spoilers: Noctis will die because he sacrificed his life to bring light back to the world after years of darkness.

It was seriously like a zombie apocalypse. But there was a good question. What happened to Insomnie after Noctis? Who became the new monarch? Since Noctis was the last Lucis Caelum blood, he also didn't have an heir. Since Noctis sadly died, the bloodline of Lucis Caelum ended. Think like about The Tudors. Elizabeth I was the final Tudor alive and since she never married and didn't have an heir, she died and the Tudor bloodline ended as well. What happened to Gladio, Ignis, Prompto, and others after Noctis died?

Even though there were a lot of questions and quite interesting and mysterious, you, dear reader, will follow the adventures and maybe even possibly answer the questions. Let's follow the love story between the handsome prince the king and the girl from our dimension. But there's also a big question, what if Y/N gave birth to Noctis' kid(s), causing the bloodline of Lucis Caelum to continue and a new heir?
