Chapter 2: Different World

Note: Noctis is 15 years old when he starts high school in Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV but since Y/N is 16, Noctis is 17 and still in high school so he doesn't know that Y/N is in his world and is being trained by King Regis and Cor to be a strong Crownguard because Regis knows that she'll be the one to protect his son but also Regis wants Noctis to marry someone who he loves and that is Y/N. Y/N was sitting on her bed, playing FFXV on her PlayStation 4 since she was nearly finishing the game. Surprisingly, she still remembered very well the previous chapters she completed. The game contained 15 chapters. The 14 chapters that you're playing, belonged to the story of Noctis to be stronger so that he could defeat Ardyn and chase the darkness away for good.

Y/N gritted her teeth as she was at the final boss battle and that was the moment to defeat Ardyn. It was hard and difficult for some players, especially if it was your first time like with Y/N, even if you put your game on easy. Y/N was one of those players that had pretty difficulty when battling. Once she managed to defeat Ardyn, she slammed the controller on her bed and threw her hands in the air. "Yes! Take that, asshole!"

Y/N connected her arms back against her sides as she watched carefully the final cutscenes of the game. She may have seen the gameplay, but it didn't mean that she had time to watch it completely. She was shocked when in the last scene, Noctis gave up his life in order to defeat Ardyn. The villain looked honestly creepy with those eyes of a daemon. Noctis also gave up his life in order to bring the light back into the world since it was dark for 10 years. In the end, Noctis and Luna reunited and married in the afterlife but Y/N didn't quite believe that they were truly in love. It was more... platonic. What was that? It was a relationship where two individuals felt no sexual desire for each other. Instead of seeing love, you would see it more as friendship. I mean, think about it... Noctis and Lunafreya were friends since kids thanks to their families, who were royals.

Y/N found out that there's a movie made about FFXV and it was called Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. However, the story focuses more on what happened when Noctis and his friends left for Altissa. So, who were the important characters? It was Regis, Luna, and Nyx. It's honestly sad because it revealed the past of how Ravus felt hate for King Regis because he didn't rescue his burned-alive mother, Queen Sylva. Y/N felt sad to see the whole how... Noctis' father died. Spoilers alert.

But there wasn't only a movie, there was also an anime series called Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV. It focused on Noctis and others in their high school years before returning to Insomnia. It's recommended to follow all of these before playing the game itself.

Y/N smiled as she got a beautifully framed picture of Noctis, his friends, and others in it. The picture was taken before Noctis left with others on a boat to Altissa. In Y/N's opinion, it was the most heartwarming picture she chose and saw.

As the girl still smiled and was about to turn off the console for a break, the TV suddenly turned off. She stopped in her tracks confused. Just as she was about to check if everything was alright, the TV shook violently and Y/N became scared a bit. What was going on? Just then, a huge windy portal opened. Y/N was slipping and she screamed once she went flying while the portal was nothing sucking in. It wanted to suck her in. Y/N held for dear life but soon, her hands slipped and she screamed as she was being sucked in. Y/N's world went black as she remembered hitting the hard ground, being outside. She saw people everywhere, but two people caught her attention as they were running towards her with no weapons in their hands Y/N's sight was too blurry to see who it was running to her those two persons but she felt knowing who it was. she then fainted.
