Chapter 23: A memory from five years ago

Kazuha's POV. Hospital.

The School Camp is over and since Fuutarou got sick, we sent him to the hospital right away.

The quintuplets overreacted that he's going to die but Akane and I told them that Fuutarou just needs to rest for a while.

Mom, Akane and I frequently visited Fuutarou to take care of him and help hin out on the things he missed during the time he is hospitalized.

Fuutarou: I appreciate the thought. But Yuki-san, you shouldn't bothered yourself coming here. You're busy with your work and all.

Yuki: It's fine. Besides, my children have been taking care of you.

Kazuha: We don't want Raiha to worry so much about you, so......

Akane: Yeah.

Fuutarou: Really.........

Fuutarou: You two never changed.......

Fuutarou: Still the same back then.

Kazuha: Well, some things may change........

Akane: But there are things that will stay the same.

Yuki: That's right.

Yuki: Well then, I'll be going ahead now.

Kazuha: Oh right.

Yuki: By the way, Kazuha, Akane, I'm the one in charge of cooking dinner tonight.

Yuki: What do you want for dinner?

Akane: Hmmm........

Kazuha: Well..........

Kazuha: Can we have a hot pot?

Akane: Hey, good thinking! It's been cold these days!

Yuki: Okay then, we're going to have a hot pot tonight!

Mom said as she raised her fist with her energetic smile.

Fuutarou: No wonder why Akane has that endless supply of energy.

Kazuha: How I wish I really inherited some of the energy somehow.

Yuki: All right then.

Yuki: Fuutarou, better take care of yourself, okay?

Fuutarou: Yeah.

Yuki: Raiha-chan's been worried sick about you.

Fuutarou: I'll keep that mind.

Fuutarou, Kazuha & Akane: Have a safe trip.

Then mom left the room and went to go to her work.

Fuutarou: Oh, by the way, Kazuha, Akane. Thanks for giving me the handouts for the lessons I've missed.

Akane: No problemo!
