Chapter 62: The School Festival - Miku's Side

Miku's POV. Takahashi/Nakano Residence. The Night before the Festival.

Kazuha: Hm? Miku, you're still awake?

I noticed Kazuha coming out from his room.

Miku: Even though the pancakes Mom, Nino, Yuki-san, Kazuha and Akane made were so delicious.........

Itsuki also comes out of her room and she noticed it.

Itsuki: You two are still awake?

Kazuha: I was about to ask what is going on but it seems like I know what is going on.

Kazuha then takes a taste of one of the pancakes.

Kazuha: Don't cook them for too long or they will burn. Don't cook them too early, and the pancake won't be cook thoroughly.

Kazuha: In cooking these pancakes, look at the rim of the pancakes, once they turn brown........flip it over.

Itsuki: Well, I shall accompany you on being your taste-tester Miku.

Kazuha: You're just hungry.

Itsuki: H-Huh!? No, I'm not!

Kazuha: Then why did you say you want to be the taste-tester?

Itsuki: Wha!?

Miku: Fufu. You know, you two are like a married couple.

Kazuha & Itsuki: Huh!?

Miku: Nevermind.

Kazuha and Itsuki. I've always envy how they really get along with each other.

How I wish that Fuutarou and I were also like that.

Itsuki: Miku, what is the reason you're working so hard?

Miku: My reason............?

Kazuha: Well, we all have our reasons. It could be something or someone.

Kazuha: As long as that reason is sincere and is from the heart.........

Kazuha: I'm very sure, your hard work shall pay off.

The two of them accompanied me for perfecting the pancakes. Itsuki for tasting it, Kazuha for giving me some tips and tricks for cooking the pancakes.

Miku: Here's your berry pancake.

I gave the order and the customers like it.

Matsui: Nice! Way to go Miku-chan!

Yuri: Your femininity must be over the roof to be able to make something like this.b

Miku: Well, I wouldn't be able to do this without Kazuha's help.
