Kazuha's POV. Flashback. Second Year Middle School. 3 years ago.
It was during our middle school years, when it happened. It was also the same middle school where our mother is teaching at.
We already gained the attention of almost everyone in our class. Especially, Akane due to her outgoing personality, she was always in the spotlight, while I stayed in the shadows.
Just like how I always been.
Akane made friends, while I just kept myself company.
Many people tried to approach me, but they are scared. Actually, it's the opposite. I'm the one who's scared.
Because back then, I was bullied all because of my hair and my eye color.
At first, I hated my white hair and eye color. I hated myself.......but I came to realize......
I was also hating my sister. After all, we have the same hair color and the same eye color.
Yet she was loved by everyone, yet I was hated.
The only one who loved me, was Mom and Akane.
Well, Akane even said to me back then.
Akane: Kazuha, I can't do all of this without you.
Akane: You're smarter than me.
Akane: You're the only one I can trust besides mom.
Akane: Please, let's do this, together. Okay?
Akane: You may think you are the shadow.
Akane: You chose to be a shadow.
Akane: But the way I see it, you're like the moon.
Akane: You were always with me when I'm crying or when I hurt myself while playing with the other kids.
Akane: You may think you are the one being protected but, you were always protecting me.
Akane: In your own way. So please, Kazuha.
Akane: Let me show to the world, how cool is my elder twin brother!
I never realized that. Akane was always the one looking up to me. After all, I was always the one preventing her from doing stupid things.
But I never forced her to choose her friends. It's still her own will. In fact she even introduced me to some of her friends.
The first one, is a boy who is a son of the leader of a yakuza organization dedicated in tracking down illegal markets in the underground network. His name is Tanaka Kou.
