Chapter 16: Fragments

Kazuha's POV. Library.

Fuutarou, Akane, Miku and I went to the library with a box filled with costumes.

Kazuha: Really, to think that they'll just dump the planning of the test of courage to us three.

Akane who is totally pissed off.

Akane: Isn't this supposed to be planned by our whole class?

Akane: Then why the heck did they dump this to us?

Kazuha: Well, can't complain now.

Akane: I'll make sure to scare the hell of them when the time comes.

Then we heard Yotsuba entering the library while humming the word "school camp" to herself. Until she noticed us.

Yotsuba: School camp! School camp!

Yotsuba: Eh? Miku, Uesugi-san, Kazuha-san, Akane-san.

Fuutarou who is coincidentally wearing the mask, puts the wig on and faces Yotsuba.

To which Yotsuba screamed.

Yotsuba: AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

Fuutarou removes the mask.

Fuutarou: It's me.

Yotsuba: Phew.

Fuutarou puts it on again and Yotsuba screams again. This went on, until I karate chop their heads to stop it.

Yotsuba: Ow!

Fuutarou: Ow.

Kazuha: Don't forget we're in the library block heads.

They both bowed to me.

Fuutarou/Yotsuba: We're so sorry.

Kazuha: *sigh*

I went back to my seat next to Akane. Yotsuba takes the seat beside me and inspects the box of costume masks.

Yotsuba: What are you guys doing with these costume masks?

Miku: Fuutarou is on the test of courage committee.

Miku: Unfortunately, Kazuha and Akane was also assigned on the said committee.

Akane: Correction, we didn't volunteer for this. We were forced to.

Kazuha: Yeah.

Yotsuba: Eh? Well, Akane-san is fit for this thing because she's a social butterfly.

Yotsuba: But for Kazuha-san and Uesugi-san, this is a very social thing to do.

Kazuha: It's tiresome and it's a drag.

Fuutarou: Just like Akane said, we didn't volunteer for this. We were forced to.

Akane: Our class is in charge of the test of courage, and our classmates dumped it on Fuutarou while he was studying.
