Kazuha's POV. Living Room, Takahashi/Nakano Residence. December 31.
We all gathered the Nakano Quintuplets in the living room for a very important job for today's cleaning.
Yuki: Alright, now that everyone is here! Let's begin the meeting. Akane!
Akane then brings out a white board and on it, the words, "TAKAHASHI RESIDENCE ANNUAL SPRING CLEANING!"
Yuki: Alright! I welcome you guys to the annual Takahashi or......wait.......
Mom grabs the marker and adjusts what was written on the white board......
Yuki: There.
It was now, "TAKAHASHI/NAKANO RESIDENCE ANNUAL SPRING CLEANING."
Yuki: Okay! Once again, I welcome you to the annual Takahashi/Nakano Residence Spring Cleaning!
Yotsuba: Spring Cleaning?
Akane: It's been a week since you guys settled down here, right?
Akane: And you are already familiar of our house rules.
A few days when they moved into our house, we also had this meeting and it was our house rules.
Takahashi House Rule #1: Everyone has a specific task to fulfill every single day.
This rule is like who will cook breakfast, lunch and dinne. Who will do the laundry for the week, sweeping in the courtyard and the garden.
The ordinary house chores if you would say.
Takahashi House Rule #2: Don't be shy to ask for help in any of the specific tasks.
Well, if the person in charge of the certain task falls ill, one can substitute on their place and take care of the ill person.
Takahashi House Rule #3: Be comfortable.
Well, that's just it. If they don't feel uncomfortable, then rule #2 is also applicable.
Somehow, the quintuplets are still getting a hang out of the house. Well, it is a Japanese mansion after all.
And they are still getting used to the atmosphere. Though all of them visited our house once. Some of them visited it more than once.
Like Miku who first visited it when she was curious of Akane's tea ceremony. Ever since they moved here, Miku's been insisting Akane to teach her tea ceremony.
Then there is Itsuki, who visited it more than many times than I can count. First is when she gave our payments for the tutoring. Then, when she ran away from their former home.........
And since she stayed here for a week back then, she's the only one among her sisters who memorized the layout of the house, though not yet memorized since she would always be in the kotatsu.
The rest are still adjusting. For Nino, she would always watch me, Akane or mom when we're cooking. A few days later, she got the hang of using our kitchen.
