Chapter 9 – It’s Harry day!

“Uhm… uhm… uhm…” was the only thing the curly-haired-demon seemed to say. He seemed too shocked to see me to come up with an actual response.

I placed my hands on my hips and tapped my feet impatiently. “What do you have to say to defend yourself, I don’t have the whole day,” I said with my infamous Tommo-face.

Strangely, I could actually smell his nerves and I could hear his heart speed up.

He looked around the tidy room wide-eyed and back at me, giving me his most innocent face. But I knew the truth about Harry Styles; when he wants to be, he’s far from innocent. “I didn’t do it,” he pouted.

I arched one of my eyebrows and gave him a look of disbelief, “Oh really?” I said with sarcasm dripping from my voice. “Then who did, you’re the only other person I see here. And you are always the one who cleans up my whole place. Without my permission might I add.” I narrowed my eyes at him. Harry gulped.

“It was a mess…” he mumbled, if it weren’t for my advanced hearing I doubt I would have heard him.

I glared around the room, “It’s too clean.”

“It’s always too messy!” Harry retorted.

I gave him a glare. “My place is not a mess, you hear me? I just have everything on display so I won’t lose my stuff.” I told him. “And now, tell me a valid reason why I shouldn’t hurt you right now.” I added.

Harry’s eyes widened at that and his face blanked for a few seconds before his eyes lit up in an idea. “You can’t hurt me because it’s Harry day!” He said with a dimpled grin.

I looked at him blankly, “Harry day?”

Harry nodded and happily replied, “That basically means that you can’t hurt me and you have to take me to the aqua zoo, as promised!”

“Valid enough,” I mumbled and Harry fist pumped the air before hurrying to my side.

“Are we going now?” He asked while jumping on the place, giving me a hopeful look with his bright green eyes.

“Sure, but we have to use your car,” I said and Harry gave me a curious look, “I broke my car.”

“Seems like a Louis thing,” Harry noted and before I could ask what he meant with that, he skipped out of the door. I just shook my head at him and followed his out of the apartment complex. On our way, we walked past the crazy cat-lady, who like usual, glared at us. I just ignored her and followed Harry to his Land Rover. “Hurry up, I want to see the turtles!” He yelled after me and I ran the last few feet to the car, jumping into the passenger seat.

Harry was already seated behind the wheel and he sped away, but I couldn’t shake the nagging feeling of being watched. I looked in the rear-view mirror and saw soon enough the cat-lady standing on the driveway, glaring after us with cats seated all around her. I shuddered and quickly looked away.

I don’t know what it is about that woman. But there is something going on with her, I couldn’t shake he nagging feeling in my gut. It was like something warned me about her.

My eyes widened when I realized the Lucky Charm was hammering like crazy against my chest, like it also warned me about her.

I decided to trust my instincts and be careful around the cat woman.

“You alright, Lou?” Harry questioned, noting my discomfort.

I gave him my most confiding smile, “I’ll be fine, just worried about getting mobbed, that’s all. We are going to a public place after all.” I told him, Harry seemed to buy it. “Don’t worry, we will be fine. I have disguises with me.” He said and I nodded.
